Campbell looked down on her, seeing she was a few inches shorter than him. He smiled and said, taking off his jacket for her

"I am sure we will find a way out sooner or later. Either way, if they kill us or we starve to death, someone will eventually find out. I have brothers and sisters back home waiting for me so if I don't come back within at least a week, they will search. I know we will be fine."

Campbell handed his Letterman Jacket to her and he gently put her arms through the arm holes and he fixed it for her. He smiled like a goofball and he fixed the sleeves before looking into her eyes softly and he looked away before complimenting her with that same goofball smile

"Well, you look better in that then I do."

He looked at it on her and saw it was kinda big for her, but it was a good enough fit.

Bethany nodded, "Okay." As she felt the warmpth of his jacket around her shoulders, she smiled. Feeling totally loved. "Thanks." She said and smiled, knowing her brother probably had something to say about this. When Cam complimented her she grinned, "Thanks again." She said and looked around. This place was creepy. Just then a rat ran past her, making her shriek. It didn't scare her, it caught her off guard. Bethany jumped over, crashing into Cam by accident. "Sorry." She said, looking around for that darn rat. Outside, the grown ups were carrying on their normal lives like nothing had ever changed. Bethany couldn't believe it though. How could someone forget their own child? How could they be so careless? How could they forget? Thoughts swarmed through her head like angry bees, causing her a head ache.

When she hit him, he grasped her around her waist and looked down on her when she apologized. He chuckled at her shriek and he remembered that his hands were around her. He blushed a deep red and he quickly pulled his hands from her waist and shoved them in his jeans. He felt awkward and hoped she didn't think he was a creeper. She was still slouching on him and he chuckled at himself. He remembered as his parents said they didn't have kids... Ever. It hurt him to think they forgot about him. He remembered saying that if this was a joke it was sick and disturbing. They even tried to forget Jesse, his dead older brother. Why would they abandoned their own kids? Why?

He looked at her again and said

"Sorry, I-I... I meant to do that. Yeah, I... Wait! I m-meant to say I didn't mean to do that!"

He looked at her and sighed, hoping she didn't think he was now truly a creeper. He told her he was going to go to that corner and he stepped back so she wasn't stepping on him. He started to walk slowly away. He turned around and walked to her before bending down and pecking her lips slowly. He backed up and looked at Seth then back at Bethany. He said quickly

"Uh...I...Well, I didn't mean to do that! Uh... I should go now. Sorry..."

He looked down and waited for her to answer

Bethany hadn't felt him grasp her waiste so she was totally lost. Bethany was a bit shocked when he pecked her lips, looking at her brother and then back at Cam. She blushed deeply. She couldn't help but think of all the times she wanted to have a kiss from a boy but couldn't because of her brothers being to 'protective'. "Cam." She said and jogged up next to him. She grinned, "What was the kiss for?" She asked quietly, just encase her brother hadn't seen. She didn't want to cause everyone problems in here. Hm, now what was it I had to remember? Bethany thought, trying to reccap anything she may be forgetting. Then it hit her! She pulled her bookbag over and unzipped it quickly. Searching through the the iteams, she pulled out her phone. Looking to see if she had enough battery. Which of course she did. Those guards sucked at patting her down.

Campbell looked at Bethany then at Seth, then back at Bethany. His cheeks were red as roses and he smirked at her, not even realizing Seth was talking to him. He walked up to her and said

"I don't know."

He looked at her and wanted to kiss her again, but saw that Seth had protective and anger in his eyes. He leaned in and kissed her on the cheek, before saying to her with a wide smirk

"I just wanted to. Well, I need to go now, I will try to see if they forgot to board up any windows or passage ways. Maybe we will get lucky."

He said bye to Bethany before walking away, slugging his hands in his jean pockets before walking into the distance, searching for anything they could use to escape this rat hole.

Bethany smiled some, her face burning with embarassment. Bethany sighed happily as he walked away and then turned towards her brother. "Why?" She asked with a growl. "Why do you always do that?" She said, stuffing her phone in her pocket and keeping pace with her brother. Not wanting to get dragged or left to far behind. Bethany thought of all the times she went to the beach with her two piece, with her brothers shielding her on all sides. Sadly she thought she could never have a love life without having some freedom away from her brothers, which was actually true.

Campbell walked slowly out and sighed, looking at Bethany and Seth. He heard what Bethany had said since it was pretty quiet and voice echoed throughout this place. He looked at her before walking to her and saying

"Wanna come look with me? I could really use the extra help to try and find something. And this place gives me the creeps!"

He chuckled, embarressingly admitting he was afraid to something so silly. He looked at her with soft eyes before swooping down and latching his hand onto hers, asking

"Wanna come?"

He gave her the puppy dog face and softly furrowed his eyebrows at her, wanting her to say yes, but hoping Seth did not tag along because he wanted to talk to her... Alone.

Bethany smiled and nodded, feeling his warm hands grasp her's. "I'll be back, try not to have a heart attack." She said and smirked at Seth, giving him a strict face before smiling and walking away with Cam. His jacket was big and warm, she loved it. Maybe I should go to the school when this is all over and get me a jacket like this too. She thought with a grin. When they were far enough away from Seth she looked at Cam and grinned, "So whatcha wanna talk about?" She asked like it wasn't very important. She knew though it might be important to him. Guys were so easy.

Campbell chuckled and turned to her directly before looking into her soft eyes. He smiled and wanted to kiss her again, but knew that surprise kiss was just enough for today. He thought about what to say and hope he didn't mess this up. He sighed and said, trying to be cool and charming about it, but sounded as a dork

"Well, I don't know, but as long as your here, I will talk about anything you want to talk about."

He felt as if he sounded like an idiot and he grumbled, saying

"Sorry, I am not good at this "Smooth Talking" stuff."

Bethany grinned, he was actually serious. "Well that's why I'm asking you." She said and laughed some, "I don't know what to talk about." She added on, shifting her weight onto her left leg. Since she was a surfer, she never got tired of standing but she did get bored if she stood for too long. Bethany looked around, seeing something in the corner. Paper probably. Just my luck. She said and she kicked the dust a little bit. Scaring a rat from under a modly cheese wrapper. It smelt soggy in here, like the cement had been drowned in water at one time. The ground wasn't very soft but in some parts, it was tiny puddles of murky brown water.

Campbell chuckled and shrugged, truly not knowing what to talk about. He took her hand and picked her up with laughs slipping out of his mouth and set her on his left shoulder. He chuckled and started to run off quickly, hearing the splashes of the dirty puddles of water. He kept running until he reached a small spot where it wasn't covered with puddles of dirty water. That is where he was set up. He smiled and set her down before sitting down, his back on the cold wall. Some light was peaking through enough to see, but at least it wasn't as dark.

Bethany laughed and squirmed playfully as she was lifted off the ground. Her brothers had never done that before. Bethany couldn't help but smile as she sat on the finally dry ground, looking around. "Haha, I hope Bloody Mary doesn't wanna visit." She joked, looking around with a grin. Things were peaceful but scary, the dim lighting and sounds of water dripping just made it worse. Bethany rubbed her shoulders, crossing her legs and pulling her bookbag off. She repostioned herself so she was more diagonal to him. She honestly didn't know if she had feelings for him or not.

Campbell sat down and looked at her. He wondered why his parents forgot him. He wondered why he never met these two before. He wondered why he was only taken out of the four siblings in his family that were still alive. He wondered why everything turned out the way it was ment to be. He wondered.... Why? His mind soon came back as he looked into the lovely eyes of Bethany Timmons, the lovely girl he had just met a few hours ago had kissed for no apparent reason. He looked at her mouth then back up and her delicate eyes before saying

"Look, I think we started off on the wrong foot. How about we... Start over?"
