Rare promotional figure of Balto. Never seen one like him.

Balto was released in Australia on June 27th, 1996 (see here), which matches the date on the figurine so I wouldn't be at all surprised if a fast food chain gave out the toys in their meals as part of a promotion for the movie down there.

It came in a kids meal at a fast food chain. Can't exactly recall the exact chain but I believe it was Hardees or something of that nature.

Sorry I'm not around much these days and only saw this by chance. The email listed on my site no longer works so it would be a miracle if you get a reply. The figure is an australian KFC toy which was part of a set including a small inflatable punching bag with Steele on, a pouch designed to go on your wrist and possibly one other that I can't remember right now. They are all quite rare...

I've seen the whole set before but only in pictures. Balto is the only one I've seen for sale before. And it went for about 40 dollars or so, but it was MINT in its bag still. And this was about 4 years ago if I remember correctly.

I still prefer the UK KFC toys but this one is very nice as well
