I honestly think the two things are unrelated. The D23 celebration probably has nothing to do with the comics, otherwise Darkwing Duck would have been included.
I understand the celebration for Ducktales as it's the most popular, but I'm surprised that the only one else is Goof Troop. It's a good show but it never had such a big fan base and didn't attain the popularity of other DA series. Maybe they chose these two because they're the only ones which had theatrical adaptations?

In any case, it's very cool to see the Disney Afternoon FINALLY getting some recognition lately...And if Talespin is really getting a comic...
*takes Homer's accent* "WHO-HOO!!!!"

EDIT : On a related note, I see that the official "DisneyShows" Youtube channel has finally added some Disney Afternoon content! http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL ... ature=plcp
But only theme songs for Darkwing Duck and Gargoyles, no episodes. Well, still better than nothing, Disney used to act as if the Disney Afternoon never existed!

EDIT 2 : They actually DID IT! It's not on Youtube, but they added the TaleSpin (and more) theme songs on the official Disney Videos site! http://video.disney.com/watch/talespin- ... 40e619df87
And even Bonkers...unbelievable! It's probably the first time I ever see the Disney Afternoon shows listed on the same place along with their newest stuff.

I'm so sorry, but on second link, I was redirected to the Polish Disney site. Crap!
In addition, when I wanted to search on US site, I was also redirected to the crappy site (fuuuuuu-): http://disney.go.com/guestservices/international

I admit, I actually had to use a prox-y located in the USA to see the Youtube channel, and I kept it so I could access the Disney site without problems. Stupid country limitations thingies...

More teasing from Aaron Sparrow!

Quote:
If you loved the Disney Afternoon...well, let's just say a favorable wind is blowing. Created by a bi-plane. And it's pretty dangerous.

https://twitter.com/Aaron_Sparrow/statu ... 7543372800

I think you can guess that there are two projects involved!
A favorable wind? Does that mean Disney has green-lighted these projects ?!

And in another tweet, he added :

Quote:
@jcr_odriguez can win it in a minute if he'll spin spin it spin it.

Now I'll be looking forward NYCC next month for some news (I hope) !!!

EDIT : Now that I think about it, the Sea Duck isn't really a bi-plane, is it? Well it still appears that's what's hinted here, I hope so anyway  Unless it's Ducktales, but I wouldn't say it's what's most remarkable about Ducktales so I doubt it...Well, as usual, wait & see.
