Ooc:// Hype - I'm glad you like her, but I think it more important that Dev approves haha
Bic:// Deep inside the main room, surrounded by rawdy noise and flashing lights and blaring music, Vanessa tucked one leg up on the ratty sofa that sat very close to the floor in order to rest an elbow on her knee. She leaned back against her other arm, staying close to her friend's ear in case she needed to say something over the crowd. Before the need arose, Sophie, sitting cross-legged and leaning forward anxiously, turned to Nessa first and nearly shouted, though it sounded like a whisper compared to their loud setting, "Look who just arrived!"
From the giggles Nessa more saw than heard coming from Sophie, Nessa could only guess that the person she was referring to was a guy and a good-lookinh one too since Sophie less than inconspiciously craned her head around the dancing bodies to look at him. Reluctantly, Nessa glanced towards the door, a deep frown on her face that clearly showed she did not share her friends eagerness. When Nessa caught sight of a pair of bright blue eyes with a perfectly laying mop of black hair, Nessa pursed her lips in displeasure. "Well, finally, Mr. Thompson has graced us with his presence," she muttered sarcastically, low enough that Sophie had to lean in closely to hear her. "Fashionably late as usual."

OOC// I'm terribly sorry for not replying quickly enough. I was busy.
BIC// Beck Madison sat on her bed in her dorm room, listening to her Walkman, whcih she snuck in because there were no electronic devices allowed. She got up, stretched out and walked out of her dorm room, her ears catching the sound of obnoxious giggles outside. She turned to look out the window and scowled in disgust as she saw some girls drooling over Griffin Thompson. 'Stupid girls. I don't see what's soooo interesting about a regular guy.' Beck thought in displeasure. She walked into the main room and took a seat. Two girls, who had been sitting there previously gave her dirty looks and walked off, flipping their hair and snapping chewing gum in their mouths like they owned the place. Beck rolled her eyes. 'Some girls are so idiotic sometimes, I swear.' She thought.

ooc: don't wanna get too far w/o Hype, but I'll reply again, get things kinda rolling.
Griffin stopped, to talk to a few football players: then a few girls. Before he saw Nessa and Sophie. His white grin broadened as he walked over to the girls, walking with his typical swag. "Well, well, well: look here." he grinned, dropping down to sit next to Nessa. "It's lil' miss sunshine." he affectionately titled Sophie. "And my deadly little thorn... Vanessa, baby." he smiled, wrapping his arm around her cockily.

Beck turned her head as she watched the girls walk towards Griff and rolled her eyes again. 'Seriously, what is UP with Griffin getting the attention? God, it's sooooo aggravating.' As she scanned the room of dancing college students, her eyes soon rested on Leo Edwards, whom she had an increasing crush on. She smiled. 'He's fit... but I heard from the girls who've talked to him before that he's not really one to flirt.' She got up and walked (well, danced, I guess you could say) over to Leo. "Hey, Leo.." She said, smiling.

ooc//~ Sorry guys!
Dev brooded silently in the corner, leaning his head against the wall as the thumping of the bass beat in his eardrums. He was surrounded by people he tagged as friends. They laughed and joked, girls tried to flirt, but Dev wouldn't have any of it. He nodded and smiled when needed, just enough to keep the girls happy, but you could tell he wasn't in to any of them. He took a sip from his red solo cup as his icy blue eyes scanned the room. They landed on two girls sitting on a sofa across the room. Isn't that one Nessa? he thought, looking at the girl. And..Sophie, he thought, shaking his head, peeling his eyes away from the pretty girl. His attention was dragged somewhere else as he heard squeals of excitement from some of the girls. He rolled his eyes as Griffin came strolling in. Taking another sip of his drink, Dev tried to swallow the jealousy as the popular boy made his way to the couch with Nessa and Sophie.

Nessa sighed more dramatically than the situation probably called for, adding a small huff at the end for effect. "You really know how to make a girl feel specail, Thompson," she said without even a hint of a smile on her face despite the fact that the guy every girl drolled over currently had his arm around her shoulders. "Every little girl just dreams of the day a good-looking boy will call her a thorn. Now if you would please remove your arm." Not even meeting his eyes, she jerked away from under his arm, using her hands to forcefully and less than gently lift and shove away the offending limb. She turned to face him for the first time and spit out a nasty "Thanks" before returning her unhappy gaze towards the crowd.
Sensing the obvious tension that she always felt around these two, Sophie slowly slid off the couch and stood almost a foot away from the couple before Nessa noticed. She gave her a menacing stare that obviously demanded the petite brunette to sit her butt back down on the sofa, but Sophie slowly stepped away with a smile on her face as if she was doing her blonde friend the greatest favor ever. "I'm gonna go check out the drink table and see if they got anything good," she said brightly, her shiny white teeth glowing more mischeiviously than her wide blue eyes.
"Sophie," Nessa growled in warning.
"I'll bring you back some," Sophie lied with a half-wink, quickly turning and disappearing into the crowd, almost missing Nessa's loud, dissapointed groan of "Great!" Officailly lost in the crowd, Sohpie's wide smile faded into a self-approving grin, proud of herself for finally tearing herself away from Nessa during one of Griffin's 'visits.' Normally, Sophie would be forced to sit still and smile pretty while Griffin teasingly complimented and Nessa violently insulted. Those two needed some time alone, though, Sophie thought as she found herself wandering the room with no particular direction and gracefully swerving around dancing bodies as she went. That is when her eyes feel on another boy, one whose face she had memorized and who she could identify just by the way he walked. As soon as Sophie caught sight of those dashing blue eyes, her foot jammed into a shoe and sent her tumbling to the floor with a loud thud and a shrill yelp.
Ooc:// Sorry for the obnoxiously long post. I have so much inspiration for these two that is isn't even right! And Hype, now you got me singing Toby Keith "Red Solo Cup."

Griffin had heard Sophie's yelp, but couldn't locate her in the crowd. So he returned his blue gaze to Nessa. It might've been his eyes that drew so many girls into loving him. They where just that-blue-in a literal sense. It was probably impossible to get more blue. But they weren't a kind of blue that could stare through your very being. Griffin's blue was constantly dangerous and daring, seeking adventure, and trying to figure out your thoughts. Griffin only smirked, sitting up in a straight poised manner, like the was Nessa usually sat in class. Then he spoke: "Well of course, you'll always be my little thorn, babe." His eyes then became mischievous, with a simple glow. "...And do my ears deceive me? You think I'm good-looking?" He challenged, wrapping his arm around her again-to earn spite-and referring to her comment: 'Every little girl just dreams of the day a good-looking boy will call her a thorn.'

Leo's head snapped toward Beck. He nodded, "Hi Beck." he replied and put his hands in his pockets and looked around. "Nice party, huh?" he said and smiled. The party was actually pretty good, his glanced at the drection Griff Thompson went, and saw him with his arm around a girl-Nessa, wasn't it? And she didn't look happy about it. He almost laughed, but kept a straight face. Finally, one girl who doesn't drool over that guy. he thought and saw one of the popular kids, Dev, approach them with some drinks. He turned his attention back to Beck and waited for her reply.

Beck acted casual, though she really wanted to flirt with this guy. "Yup, nice party. So I saw you standing here all alone and, umm... I just came to chit-chat cuz... y'know, I'm bored and stuff." She giggled quietly to herself. She then glanced over at Griff, who had his arm around Nessa and was flirting with her. 'Ewwww... good girl, Nessa. Don't flirt with HIM.' She thought. She turned back to Leo and smiled sweetly.

ooc//~ @Black Rose - I know right! (:
bic//~ He tried to drop his gaze from the lovely brunette but Dev found himself mesmerized. "Dude, wanna get me another drink?" one of his friends asked, lightly punching him in the shoulder. "No way, get it yourself bro," Dev mumbled, taking another swig. He almost choked as he saw Sophie make her way towards the drink table, obviously trying to avoid the "cute couple" on the couch. "Nevermind I'll get you your drink," he said, patting his buddy on the shoulder. But before he could even stand up, he saw her foot catch as she tumbled to the ground. Trying to be smooth, but fast at the same time, Dev was by her side in an instant. "You ok?" he asked, eyes narrowed as he reached for her arm to help her up.

Nessa slouched against the couch cushions with her hands resting between her legs in the same fashion Griffin usually sat during class. The chill style complimented him a lot better than it did her, but she had noticed the way he sat copying her usual look. With the mix of him sitting straight, her croached down, and their usual difference in height, Nessa was forced to angle her neck almost completely upward in order to glare at his face with her green eyes which were as muddy as his were clear. "Well I have been blinded by your overwhelming sense of self importance and I have to only assume your looks by the reactions of others. Considering how many looks of jealousy I'm receiving right now, I can tell that most of the girls here would gladly and willingly fall all over you. So why don't you go harrass one of them?" In one quick movement, Nessa nearly flew out of the couch in her rush to get off of the sofa and away from being tucked under Griffin's arm. -~- Sophie could not believe her luck. The blue eyes she had gotten lost in that caused her to trip in the first place were now looking down at her with nothing but concern. She felt her cheeks burn with a blush that she hoped Deveron mistook for just the normal flush of a party. Several moments passed after he asked her if she was alright as all Sophie could do was blink up at him with large oval eyes and a slightly agape mouth. Finally snapping back into the reasonable part of her mind, Sophie scrambled to pick herself up from the dirty floor, feeling only a sore muscle in her wrist and a sharp sting in her big toe. "Thank you," she said with a string of giggles following behind. She reached her hand up to run her fingers through her bangs and hair in an attempt to fix any misplaced strands. "I'm fi- ow!" Sophie cringed as a sharp pain went through her arm as she bent her wrist. She grasped it with her other hand as she glanced up at Dev through her now messed up bangs and gave him a small shrug.

"Hey!" Griffin grinned, quickly getting up and trailing after Nessa, before taking a place at her side, and walking with his strutting-sway-always having a spring in his charming step. "Bad money always comes back, babe. That is: if you can get rid of it first." Griffin explained with a smirk. "Anyways, I'm not so satisfied with your answer, Ness. All I have met-but two-have admitted that I'm devilishly handsome-" he loved to sound vain-knowing it got on her nerves-actually those who knew him as a friend-even long lost lovers admitted that he was adorably sweet and kind. "-so that makes it a matter of opinion. And youe opinion is that my sinful goodlooks are something even you can't resist..." He spun around, stepping infront of her so she'd stop suddenly. He found himself face to face with Vannessa, their faces: only inches apart but that's what he wanted. "Don't try your rngenious little mind tricks... Cause I have a few of my own.." he whispered seductivly in her ear-so she could hear over the music. Again, he only did it to annoy her: it was his way of hiding his huge crush on this girl he assumed had no feelings for him.

After a roll of her eyes, Nessa mostly ignored the boy following behind her into the heart of the crowd until he managed to move himself in front of her. She held in a surprised gasp as she forced her feet to stop walking forward for fear of crashing straight into Griffin's chest. Momentarily caught unaware, her strict frown lifted into a vaguely neutral expression. When Griffin whispered in her ear with a gruff seductive tone, Nessa had to remind herself to breathe evenly and not allow herself to shiver from the chill that ran up her spine. Recollecting herself, Nessa closed her mouth which had somehow fallen slightly open some time during their conversation. Griffin's face was still dangerously close to hers when she suddenly leaned on her toes to bring them even closer together. She moistened her lips with her tongue as she brought their faces close as if she meant to kiss him, but at the last moment she stopped. Still staring up into her eyes with the same neutral expression, her mouth fell into the familiar frown. "Get over yourself," she breathed on his face before roughly pushing passed him, her heart beating faster than she ever thought possible.
