"Yeah, let's go!" Katie piped happily, starting back toward the car.

Marty had already grabbed Scotty by the shirt and drug him into the backseat. Making Scotty sit in the middle while he excitedly waited for the others.

Sydney climbed into the front seat, leaving Sid to clamber in next to Scotty while Maddy slunk into the very back of the car, where there was once extra seat. She was fine with this, and Syd looked back with concern.

Sydney acted like an older sister to Maddy, always realizing she was younger and a little less mature.

"You sure you don't want to go back Maddy?" Syd asked.

Sin snorted and shook Sydney's seat playfully, "Awe leave the kid alone, she wants to come, alright?" Sin said loudly.

Maddy nodded, giving a thumbs up, "I'm totally fine, dudes." She said. "Wait, where are we going exactly?" She asked, only knowing that they were leaving, but not knowing where to.

"We're off on a roadtrip, lil dudette! Across our awesome country." Marty responded to Maddy, looking happily at Scotty "Oh yes, awesome country." Scotty replied.

"Oh c'mon dude, maybe we'll meet some girls in our travels!"

Scotty just sighed and shook his head.

Katie rolled her eyes, starting the car and pulled out of the driveway.

Sin sighed too, he didn't much care for America. He was about to protest, telling Marty that America really wasn't a great country, but Sydney, seeing him about to start something, reached back and pulled his mohawk.

"Ouch!" He grumbled, rubbing his head and shooting a scowl at her. Sydney snickered and turned back around.

"I guess it's better than being home." Maddy said, amused with Sydney's and Sin's constant bickering.

"Yeah, not much to do here anymore." Sin agreed.

"Maddy, you're sure your parents said it was ok for you to come along, right?" Sydney asked once more. She'd been stressing over it all morning.

Maddy smiled and laughed, "Of course they..." She stopped laughing, "Didn't." She began laughing again, her eyes mischievous. Sin gave her a high five, but Sydney looked mortified.

"But Maddy, that's not good-" Sydney began, but Sin cut her off.

"Awe she'll be just fine, s'not like she's never coming back." Sin groaned.

"Yeah, and they knew I was leaving. Relax Sydney." Maddy dismissed.

"What about you two?" Katie asked with narrowed eyes in the rearveiw, looking at Scotty and Marty. "Do your parents know where you are?"

"No." Scotty replied.

"Of course!" Marty replied "Well... I mean... I've not been home in a couple of days..."

"Oh dear..." Katie sighed.

"Runaway party!" Maddy erupted, waving her pop sickle in the air like a light saber and laughing. Sin rolled his eyes and Sydney blushed, embarrassed by Maddy's lack of maturity.

"Give me that d*nm pop sickle." Sin growled, snatching it and beginning to suck on it.

"Hey! That was mine!" Maddy whined, kicking his chair.

"Stop it, the both of you." Sydney growled, then looked at Katie giving her that looked that said 'see what I have to deal with everyday?'

Maddy made a face at Sydney and Sin rolled his eyes yet again.

Katie grinned "Try raising two teenage boys." She said playfully, trying to use he genearic "mother" voice.

Scotty watched Sin take Maddy's popcicle but didn't say anything.

"Hey C'mon dude, that wasn't cool." Marty voiced.

Sin chomped on it and smirked, "I dunno, this pop sickle is pretty cool" He said, laughing at his joke.

Maddy shook her head, "No Tom, just no." She said, "I'm the funny one, stop making jokes." She joked, unbuckling herself and leaning against the back of his and Scotty's seat. She punched Sin in the shoulder and he growled and pushed her back playfully.

"Buzz off." He said.

"No, I want my pop sickle back!" She protested.

"Too late, I all ready ate it." Sin teased. Maddy kicked his seat once more.

Sydney laughed a little and turned back to face them, "Maddy, I'll get you a knew pop sickle later. Sin stop being mean to Maddy."

"I'm not being mean!" Sin complained.

Maddy stuck her tongue out at him.

"Wait..." Marty started laughed "Y-your name's Tom?!"

Scotty glared at Marty shaking his head slightly.

"No really, Tom. Why do they call you Sin?!" Marty laughed.

"Marty!" Katie snapped but he didn't stop teasing.

Maddy laughed and messed up Sin's hair, he growled and shooed her away. Sydney bit her lip, knowing how Sin got.

He looked at Marty and shot him a glare, "My parents are super Catholic," Then he motioned to himself, "And they had a son like me." He chuckled.

"OoH! Can I finish the story!" Maddy joked.

"Shut it," Sin ordered, this was his way of joking with Maddy. She laughed once and went quiet.

"So they called me Sinner for a while. Because of the music, drugs, alcohol, lack of faith blah blah blah." He finished.

"And I thought Sinner was tacky, so I called him Sin, and he never changed it." Maddy joined in.

"I like Tom, better." Sydney grumbled under her breath.

Marty nodded satisfied with that "Ya know, no offense ya'll, but I'm ready to get outta Cali- start for our turf! I'd love to see a watertower town again." He sighed.

Scotty looked at him "We have to go the Los Angeles first."

"Yeah, I know." He grinned playing with Scotty's tie, but when he was smack he played with Scotty's hair.

"Watertower?" Maddy asked confused. She looked at Scotty and Marty with a perplexed stare.

"You've never heard of one?" Sin asked, actually taken aback.

"Nope." Maddy answered shortly.

"Oh." Sydney muttered.

"You don't know what a watertower is?!" Marty asked with pure shock the curiousity "Do you know what a opossum is?"

"Hey!" Scotty snapped, he knew he was being made fun of, when he first moved to Nashville he didn't know about watertowers or opossum.

"I know what an opossum is..!" Maddy said, "It's the one with the stripes, right? The ones that smell really bad if you scare em?" She wondered.

Sin slapped his palm to his face, "Sometimes I forget how stupid you can be." He grumbled.

"Hey shut up, I've never seen one, okay?" Maddy growled.

"Sin, stop being mean to Maddy." Sydney ordered.

"Not being mean." He grumbled.

Marty grinned and laughed "Are you kiddin'? God..." He looked at Scotty "It's like training you, all over again."

"Shut up Marty!" He snarled grabbing a handful of the blonde's hair.

"Ah! Katie, help, help!" Marty yelped pathetically.

"Hey! Scotty! Break it up morons!" The redhead scolded the boys."Scotty get in the far back."

"But I didn't do a bloody thing?!"

"I don't care. Go, Scotty!"

Scotty groaned and unbuckled, easily manuvering over the seats and around where Maddy sat. Only to plop down between his suitcase and his guitar case.
Marty snickered victoriously.

"Marty, I will tie you to the bumper and make you run after us." Katie growled.

After that Marty blinked "I'll be good." He whimpered, starting to bite nervously on his fingernails.
