Jack smiled some and shut his eyes. Tonight, Bethany was his. Jack kissed Bethany on the lips. Making it last for a while. He turned and pulled her a little closer to him. Jack smiled some and looked down at her. "I won't." He said and chuckled. He looked over at Pete and then back down at Bethany. He didn't care anymore. Jack smiled some more and ran his fingers through her hair. Jack kissed Bethany a bit more before fading to black with her. An hour later Jack unfaded with Bethany and lied beside her. His shirt in his hand. Jack relaxed, looking up at the stars. He noticed Pete wasn't paying any attention to them and it confused him.

Jack felt his cheek. It stung. "No Bethany wait please!" He begged as she slammed the door. He glared over at Pete. "Why did you have to be here!?" Pete ignored Jack and kept his eyes on the stars. Jack growled and said it louder, "Answer me!". Pete looked over at Jack "Why didn't you go to your cabin?" He snapped back. Pete was usually very quiet but when he was angry, everyone was going to get an earful. Jack sat and thought about it. He stood up and walked towards his room. He didn't know what to next after embarrasing Bethany like that. Jack looked over his bunk and lied down. Drifitng into a sleep. Pete stood up and did the same. Sleeping through the night.

Next Day...

Pete awoke to a sweet voice. He looked up and saw Bethany up there talking and listening. Pete stood up. "I'll be up in a moment." He said and began to pull on his pants. Pete couldn't find his shirt for some reason and he didn't care about it anyway. Pete walked up onto the deck and over to Bethany's room. He unlocked the door for her and stepped back away from it. Pete went to the kitchen and got some water out of a canteen. Pete looked over at the door as Jack walked in. Pete looked away, screwing the cap back on the canteen and walked away. Pete fixed some loose ropes on the ship. He didn't want anything to go wrong while they were in the middle of the sea. Pete sat down when he was finished, his hands cut a little bit from the barnicles that grew on them. Pete had strong hands.

Pete looked at his hands as she dabbed them. "It's nothing. I'm fine." He said and caught her eyes. He saw she was leaning in for a kiss but he didn't know what to do. Pete tilted his head some and finished the moving. He kissed her. Jack happened to glance over and see this. Jack ran over and kicked Pete in the spine. Pete yelled out and grabbed Jack's leg, twisting it, and flipping him. Pete and Jack got in a fist fight. It ended up with Pete holding Jack by his legs over the side of the ship. "Now Jack. I don't like doing this." He said and acted like he was going to let him go. Pete looked down at him. "I think you've learned not to mess with me." He said also and pulled him up. Pete walked away from him.

Pete moved his arm at first. He didn't speak at all as she wrapped her hands around him. Pete looked back at her for a moment. He looked at his shoulder and took a deep breath. He must have cut it somehow. Pete gave an uncertain emotion look. Pete felt her dab the corner of his mouth. Pete grabbed her hand, he wasn't mad at her. He let her go and looked over at the poop deck. Pete sat down, he felt like he was truly against the world. Pete leaned against the wall and looked over at sea. Paying no attention to Bethany. He just sat there quietly. The boat creaked and moaned, a long day this would be. Jack sped past Pete without looking at him. He went straight to his room and crawled into his bunk. Going to sleep. Jack was tired. Even though it was still mid-day.

Pete looked at her when she kissed his cheek. Pete looked away after a few seconds. He wasn't really big on the whole love thing. He felt her soft hand on his shoulder and looked at it. He knew what it was but he wanted to see her eyes. Pete caught them, gazing in them. Tracing her face while he watched her eyes. Pete stood and went below decks again. Knowing Bethany, she'd probably follow him. Pete sighed some and lied back on his bunk. He didn't know what else to do and this girl wouldn't leave him alone. Pete looked at the ceiling. Tracing the boards, figuring where everything in her room was at. He was bored and he wanted to be left alone honestly. Pete scratched his head. His hair was thick and dark which made it hot on his neck and head. He thought of when they'd get to port and how soon he'd get to live without all these people. Without Jack. Without Bethany.

Pete put her hand on her shoulder. "You don't want to live with me." He said just before she had kissed him again. Pete didn't know what to do so he returned the kiss. Pete got lost in the moment, fading to black with Bethany. Pete looked around his cabin/room. Pete didn't know what he was gonna do and he honestly never did. He knew that Jack was intending to marry Bethany so Pete decided not to start dating her. "Now look just because we do these things doesn't mean we're dating." He said and looked in her eyes. He didn't want to hurt her feelings but he wasn't going to let her believe whatever she wanted about the. Pete and Bethany unfaded. Pete just chilling on his bed, grabbing a cigarette he grabbed it and lit it. Smoking it right in front of Bethany. Surprisingly his breath never stunk after he smoked.
