"Ouch, that hurt." Ian teased, putting his hands on his slender hips.

Kat sneered and looked down at her scraped up knees. "Are you just going to stand there all night, or am I gonna have to start screaming for the gaurds?" Kat growled, even though she'd never scream for them, knowing they'd imprison her.

"Like you're going to call from them..when you're running from them." Ian scoffed, leaning against the wall.

Kat knit her eyebrows, "What are you talking about?" She said, scooting away from him, playing dumb being her only option.

"Everyone around town has seen your picture. We all know who you're running from." Ian huffed back, fighting back a smirk.

At his response, Kat tugged her hood a little tighter over her head. "Yeah well, I'm leaving in the morning, so the town folk won't have to see my mug around here anymore." Kat said, beginning to think this guy was just another villager.

"Yeah? I could get you out..tonight." Ian offered cunningly.

"How?"Kat asked softly, her big eyes looking up at him.

"I know my way around every rule in town, sweety." Ian assured her, giving a smile.

"What's the catch?" Kat asked warily.

"No catch, just tryin' to get out like you." Ian said with a shrug.

Kat suspiciously stood, collecting her knife and stuffing it in her satchel. She nodded at him slowly, "Fine." She said, shrugging as well.

Ian turned and smirked, leading Kat to a certain part of the gate where there seemed to be a door. Or, almost a door.
"Follow me." He hummed softly, leading her through the doorway, and outside the gates.

"Oh, cool!" Kat said, looking at the forest that surrounded the empire. Kat twirled and looked back at the stranger, a small smile on her face.

Ian watched Kat for a moment.
"I guess." He chimed with a shrug.
