Grim jogged around the inside of his house, whining slightly at his owners who were not opening the front door fast enough. Finally, the husband of his family gave in. He barely had the door open an inch when Grim nearly flew out. His feet didn't seem to touch the ground as he sprinted down the street, keeping a keen eye out for the rest of his sled team. The big race was today, and he didn't want to miss a second of it even if it hadn't officially started yet. He spotted Carrie, Fang, and Banshee a few more feet down the road, and Grim had a bit of trouble skidding to a stop beside them. "Hey, guys," he said through pants which made the short greeting twice as long to get out as it normally would.

Lana sauntered out of the house, the morning light glowing off of her white fur. Her nerves were definately high with the big race being that day, but she tried not to let it show on her face as she made her way across town, away from the abandoned house she currently called home. She came across Kyra first, one of her team mates, but continued down the road as if she hadn't seen Kyra. She really didn't want to interact with any of the other dogs on the team until she absolutely had to.



May exited her den with a loud yawn, shaking her head to clear it of the fogginess. Her sleepy, blurry eyes spotted Bloom walking across the den area, probably to see her father. With a happy skip in her step, May trotted up to her best friend. "Are you ready for some hunting to day?" she asked brightly, knowing that today would be the first time both Bloom and May would be joining the older wolves in a pack hunt. It was a bigger deal for Bloom, of course, because of her training to be the alpha, but May couldn't stop the excited smile the graced her lips.

Sophie saw her daughter and a few other dogs talking. She decided to not disturb her pup for she knew that she would be embarrassed Carrie. As the walked a little bit further down the path, her eyes came across a known face. "Hello there." She said approaching Kyra not trying to scare her because her attention seemed to be focused on something else.

Bloom over heard May approach her. "Yea! Of course I am happy we are hunting." She said to her and smiled as she saw everyone nodding her head at them. She was proud to be apart of the pack but she wasn't ready to be a leader. She didn't even know if she wanted to be one. "Hey Lily. Are you ready to hit the woods with your running legs." She said laughing.

Kyra jumped slightly and turned her focus onto Sophie. Hi. She said simply. She could feel something inside her tell her to just treat her like her other friends. Kyra smiled some and sat down, prooving she trusted this wolfdog well enough to be relaxed around her. Kyra mind began to wander as she cleared her throat and smiled more. I'm Kyra.

Ooc:// Sophie isn't a wolf dog. Carrie is and Carrie doesn't know she is Sophie is Carrie and Blooms mother she is full dog.

Sophie smiled at her. "How have you been. You seem distracted by something out in the distance. " She said facing the open hills and didn't see anything. "Well I beat you are excited for the race." She asked.

Bump! i really don't want this to die!

Carrie smiled at Fang and Banshee. "Not a problem at all!" She looked between them. "Are you guys nervous at all?" She didn't want to admit that she was but she knew they had to know. At this point, she and her team knew each other extremely well. She stretched her paws again. She could almost feel the wind blowing through her fur and the snow flying out from beneath her paws as she ran. The race was going to be incredible. They had worked hard and it was going to pay off!
She turned to Grim as he joined and wagged her tail a bit. "Hey! How are you this fine morning?" She was thrilled to be talking to her team. She loved every dog on it. They were a family basically. They saw each other at their best and at their worst and she wouldn't trade a second of it.

Ooc:// I am so so sorry! I'm in the final weeks of my classes but my schedule should open up A LOT more by about the 8th. I'll do my best to post more though.

Fang nodded. "Well, nervous as we are, we're pumped and ready to run! Can't wait until the race." He turned back to see Banshee, who was nodding to prove Fang's point. "Oh, come over here, Banshee. Don't be shy," he said, pulling his brother's sled collar towards him so that Banshee was beside him rather than behind him. "I'm not being shy," he said indignantly, though he smiled towards Carrie. "Like he said... pumped. We're going to win!" Fang grinned, showing his canines rather plainly. "Darn straight!" As Grim made his way towards them, Fang greeted him after Carrie. "Hey, Grim! 'Sup?"
