Name: Gabriel (Gabe)
Gender: Male
Age: 4 or so (around 29 in human years)
Breed: Tamaskan Dog
Basic Personality: Gabriel is a very mild-mannered dog. He despises rules and often refuses to follow them, but has a large weak spot for family (however he has none). He often uses sarcasm and tends to lean "over the edge" too much, not really afraid of taking risks, even though sometimes it may be life-threatening. Gabe has small trust issues, and is a lone stray most of the time, would much rather prefer to sit back and watch the dogs and wolves fight it out rather than get into the middle of it. Gabriel, as mentioned earlier, has a hard time trusting other dogs or wolves, but once you get him to trust you, he'd follow you to the end of the earth- he's always very loyal and quick to help out someone in need, but sure to brag about something later on. He's quite the chatter box, and has a talent for getting under other dogs' skin, and specializes in lying and tricking.

The white snow crunched softly beneath Gabriel's paws as he snuck through the underbrush of the dense forest. He kept his head low and his ears perked, listening for anything unusual. The dog shook his fur out and glanced around once more, before hurrying back into town. Of course he'd heard the news about the dog- poor guy, but was he about to do something about it? Heck no! But, that didn't mean he couldn't dig up a little more information. He trotted into the outskirts of town, his light-gold eyes scanning the treeline in case he was being followed. Seeing nothing, Gabriel plodded forwards, his tail swishing back and forth as he moved along.

Bloom walk around the streets looking for some food in a near by garbage. Her owner had just passed away and she knew she need to find food fast because she had not eaten in a few days and her stomach was growling. All of a sudden she spotted a figure coming towards the alley. Lowering herself in a defensive mood ready to jump at any moment.

Olivia jumped around in the snow enjoying it as much as she could. Then she saw in the distance a small town. She never ran far from the forest but today she did and she was very curious about the town. She started her way down the hill.

Spark opened her eyes blearily. She could tell she had slept in later than normal from the position of the sun, and the noises of a waking town that filtered through the morning air. She let out a small yawn, sitting up and shaking some loose snow out of her fur. Still a bit groggy, her nose twitched as she struggled to wake up. Mustering the will to stand, she padded lightly into the streets, already bustling with morning activity.

Brown eyes curious, she scanned the town for any sign of company. Always needing to have her attention occupied in some way or the other, Spark found that an excellent way to do this was by talking to someone. Granted, it was usually her doing most of the talking, just because of how quickly the words spilled out, but it still made her focus for a minute or two.

Her keen nose soon picked up the familiar scent Spirit. Following it, she soon spotted the canine, and her curled tail began to wag gently.

Terra absently picked at the small rabbit she had managed to snag. While somewhat stringy, it was still meat, and the she-wolf wasn't about to complain. Surveying the small copse of trees, she couldn't help but notice a distinct lack of anything interesting. With a sigh, she stood, shaking some loose snow out of her thick fur before weaving her way through the familiar forest.

Gabriel slipped unnoticed into an alley, his paws crunching lightly in the snow. His nose twitched with irritation as the stench of the human's reached him, and he snuffed, lowering his head a bit, as if to dodge the scent all together. He perked, catching a new scent, another dog, and lifted his head. Gabriel's eyes scanned the alley and locked onto the owner of the scent, but seeing as she posed no immediate threat, he continued his steady stride.

Hearing light footsteps behind him, Spirit turned only to see that the feet were actually paws, and the paws belonged to one of his friends, Spark. "Hey Spark!" He greeted immediately. He trotted up to her in a playful sort of gait, although he felt a little different. He could not have been described as excited at the moment, though he tried to cheer himself up immensely - almost all to no avail. Perhaps talking may make him feel better, he mused. "How have you been?" he asked conversationally.

Shade had not moved from the spot he was from. He continued to stare at the abyss of trees and marveled at their beauty. Despite the fact these monstrous plants were rooted everywhere, Shade hadn't gotten used to their presence. Through his short years here in Toronto, he had come to find that the simplest things still amazed him, and in a way he was sort of glad, since it made him all the more grateful that he was alive. If only he could get the other wolves to see it in such a way. Then they would not all be so keen to kill first and ask questions later...

Bloom finally saw the figure and she was ready to claw till he just seemed to ignore her. She growled. "How dare you not think I can take you down." She said in anger. As she lighten up a little but still keeping her hard face on. "Why are you in this alley." She demand to know.

Olivia heard Shade from near by and she head towards him. "Hey Shade. " She said laughing as she was having so much fun. She kicked some snow in his face.

May woke with a start as she heard a female voice shouting outside of the walls of the May's dumpster. The large metal case hadn't been used in years and May noramally spent her nights inside the warm space with only two blankets for company. Usually, this alley didn't get many visiters, but there was obvioulsy someone standing out there. From the tone of her voice, May also guessed that at least one other canine was there as well. May pocked her head out of the dumpster's broken lid, her paws resting on the edge. The two dogs were only standing a few feet from the dumpster and May stared down at them from her height up on the dumpter. "Is everything okay?" she asked, cocking her head to the side as she recognized the two dogs from town though she could only vaguely remember their names. The collie was Petal or Bud or some other flower reference while the male was named... well, actually, she couldn't remember his name at all.

Mutt turned down a street keeping his eyes on the look out for any wolves venturing into town. The news of one of the dogs being murdered by the wolves had Mutt exceptionally tense these passed few days. He spotted the bright white fur of Spirit just a few feet away at the end of the street, and immediately quickened his pace to stand next to him and Spark. Mutt knew that Spirit had been rather close to the dog that was recently killed and wanted to make sure he was doing okay.



Eira stayed inside her den as the sun rose farther and farther into the sky. She had gotten up at nearly the crack of dawn for an early hunt, and the bird she had caught filled her belly. With a full stomach, Eira's eyes were drooping shut as she stared out through the trees, always keeping in mind that a town full of dogs lay just on the other side.

Kent's ears perked up when he heard the squeal of laughter echo through the trees. He instantely recognized this voice as Olivia and started to lope through the trees towards her voice. Her giggling wasn't always a good sign since, as a pup, she might be getting herself into trouble without realizing it. Kent really hoped this wasn't the case this time, and was happily surprised to find her with Shade. Kent grinned as he walked over to them and took a seat beside Shade without a word.

Gabriel raised an eyebrow and laughed, taking a step backwards.
"Please. Y'dont seem too scary there, Bloom." He huffed, loving knowing just about everyone's names, since it did a good job at ticking them off. Gabe turned his head to the other dog that had emerged from the dumpster and flashed a toothy-grin.!
"Oh yeah, everything's Peachy." He chimed with a wink, turning back to Bloom.
"It's a free alley, last time I checked, y' don't own it!" Gabriel pointed out, shaking out his fur lazily. "'sides I was just walking through."

Bloom kinda made a growl at Gabriel comment and just turned her attention to the other dog. Who had been in the trash can the whole time she was sniffing around for food. "We are fine." She said and start to walk out of the alley hitting Gabriel in the face with her tail.


Olivia smiled as Kent came towards her and Shadow. "Hey Kent. Why are you over here." She said looking up at him. Shadow still hand't answered her and because she was a very impassioned pup she just moved onto talking to Kent.

Jake padded through the streets quietly, glancing around. Sometimes he just liked to observe town life. Seeing interactions between the different town dogs and the different people fascinated him. He could go hours without speaking if he wanted, depending on the day. He noticed Spark and Spirit and smiled to himself. He knew both of them and liked them a lot. Slowly he made his way to them, tail beginning to wag.


Sally had been asleep under a tree until she awoke with a jolt. She had been having a nightmare. She shook herself and then searched her thoughts, unable to remember what it had been about. She gave a quite, irritated snort and got to her paws. She felt her heart rate slowly beginning to slow down to a normal pace and twitched an ear. She looked around her, beginning to calm down faster as she wondered at the beautiful place surrounding her.

Ooc:// Sorry that took so long guys! Few final weeks of school. It'll be over by the 8th or so.

Gabriel rolled his eyes at Bloom's actions, and watched her stalk off, smirking with oleasure as he'd achieved his goal to tick her off. He glanced back at the other dog, nodding a hello, before turning and trotting off.

Before Spirit could hear Spark's answer, he noticed Mutt trotting over towards them. "Nice to see you, Mutt,"he greeted, looking back and forth between his two friends. He couldn't help but glance at the forest a few times before trying to focus his attention on the other two strays whom he called good friends. To himself he wondered how a species could kill another living being so like their own... Dogs were not that different from wolves, were they? His friend had died trying to prove it, and suddenly it didn't seem like such a good idea to sympathize with them. Before he knew it, Jake had joined them as well, pulling him out of his thoughts and giving him another reason to talk by greeting him too.

Shade blinked twice before registering that he had just been splashed in the face with a pawful of snow. He laughed quietly, preferring not to say anything, but managing to say something besides. "Hello, Olivia," he greeted calmly yet happily. As Kent walked over and sat beside Shade, Shade bowed his head down, smiling politely and looking back at the trees for a moment. "Nature is a lot prettier up close..." He trailed off, not sure how to phrase what he wished to say. He wanted to say how he thought that the dogs couldn't have been happy much, not being so close to nature, though he was unsure if the two before him would be so kind towards the other canines. Remembering this, he fell into silence again.

Bloom walked over to the near by meat shop and sat outside the door wanting some food badly. Hoping for the butcher to give her some food. But she sat there for awhile and no one came out. She just gave up on the thought and started to walk off. Knowing no one would even notice.

Olivia smiled; When she was finally recognized by Shade and started to play around on the hill side. She really was wondering what was going threw Shade's mind. He kept on looking over at the place of building. She decided to walk towards it.

"Hey, guys." Jake sat down by the others, twitching an ear. "How are you?" He felt himself relaxing into the friendly, social mood he was usually in. He loved being with his friends more than anything. They always made him turn into the dog his mother had told him to be. She had always said a good dog should be friendly, sweet, loyal, and brave. He was willing to give up anything for his friends. He would go to battle for them in a heartbeat.


Sally slowly settled back down, resting her head on her paw. She knew she should get to the pack soon but she felt an overwhelming desire to stay here. She loved her pack and was loyal to them but she got frustrated sometimes. There were a few of them that were hard to talk to. They wanted to go to war with the dogs. She didn't understand why. Why couldn't they live in peace? They weren't really different. They were just... raised differently.
