Delilah smiled, "You were following me? I didn't know. If I had I would have slowed down..." she said, she shook her head. "And thank, I mean, I always have been able to change many forms, but I've had many good teachers and years to perfect my art." she said and smiled, her brothers and sisters had always lived at the castle. Their parents were the 'leaders' and they had always had the best of training.

Ricochet nodded, feeling slightly embarrassed the way she said 'following me', and felt his cheeks burn at their edge. "I, er... well, I thought you'd be interesting to talk to. And 'sides, you were a shapeshifter and all. Shapeshifting's the best magic, am I right?" he let a small grin pass his lips to convey his joke. He knew for a fact that shapeshifting probably was not the most important magic out there, but it was indeed (at least in his opinion) the most fun. "You're lucky. I hope to become that skilled soon enough," he said in response, actually meaning it. "Though to get a good enough teacher may be a challenge, considering I am new."

"For sure, shape shifting I the most useful for... interestingly complicated situations, but let me tell you, never turn into a horse around a non magic human, because they'll find themselves riding a horse one moment and then a giant wildcat the next after they jump on your back and your trying to get away. Now that's interesting. Scared the soul out of that poor man. There are times like that when it shouldn't be used, as I learned. Say.... I could teach you!" Delilah exclaimed, she grinned, "if you want me too?" she added.

Ricochet's eyes lit up at the hilarity of her story, and he found himself letting out a genuine laugh by the time she was through. He nodded almost immediately at her suggestion. "Wow, you would? That would be excellent!" He said excitedly. "Haha, I'll make an honest note of that. Though I'll have to be honest, having someone ride on your back must feel strange... wouldn't it? Considering we weren't born horses." He let out another small laugh as he awaited her reply.

"Great, and yeah, it was kinda weird, but I've had it happen after that, I just didn't turn into a wildcat. I judt waited got away in the night, and my twin brother rode me once, being an idiot. I about trampled him. But anyway, to start your training, wanna go out of the castle for a little field trip sort of thing?" Delilah said, she grinned.

Ricochet listened intently, beginning to like Delilah more and more. She seemed extremely interesting, and if nothing else, she was a great shapeshifter and an awesome story teller. "I would have too if I were you," he said to make conversation, and at her suggestion, he suddenly felt pumped. "Sounds great! Can we go now?" A bit more to himself, he muttered, "I hate staying cooped up all the time..." Noticing she probably would have heard this, he said with a slightly embarrassed tone, "You know... horse form and all."

Delilah laughed, "yeah, being cooped up is not a good thing for us shapies... It's not good at all. Let's not wait another minute, the first thing I want you to do is change into a bird and we'll go." she said she giggles and turned into a jay, twittering and flying around his head. She flew to the high up window and glided in a circle, waiting for him to join her. She settled on the window sill and looked down at him.

Ricochet nodded at her instructions. Usually, he transformed either into a human or into a horse. He had on occasion shifted into other creatures, but honestly, he felt no need to change into much else but his favorite form and his natural born one. This said, it was somewhat of a spectacle for him to be told to turn into a bird, something he'd never tried transforming into before this moment. He closed his eyes tightly and concentrated. It was a few moments later before a result finally appeared.

His form became later, more lithe. His eyes became almost like the shape of an almond, and his hair began to spread over his body, turning into a strange sort of cover that would be described as feathers. Once the transformation felt complete, Rick opened his eyes and looked at his form to make sure nothing was off. He was a raven, it looked like. Due to his hair color, he was a bit lighter than the usual black - it made him seem to be almost like a sort of chocolate brown. His stunning blue eyes peered curiously towards Delilah, who was already flying, and although Ricochet had never turned into a bird before, he had turned into one or two other creatures some while beforehand and at least - if nothing else - knew how to fly. He took off in pursuit of her path and ended up flapping his chocolate wings beside her, waiting for her to lead the way.

Delilah looked at him, she gave a birdlike smile "great job" she cheeped and opened her wings "let's go!" she exclaimed, she took off, she loved flying, her jay form was one of her favorite forms because she had absolute freedom to fly where ever she chose, she also loved being a wolf because her sense improved one hundred percent and she could hunt. Her other favorite was the horse because she was both powerful and beautiful. She glided fast across the sky and soon decended into the forest. His first lesson would be to turn into every animal they saw.
