Steele rolled his eyes at Kodi after his head was turned so the younger dog couldn't see. He smiled sweetly at Kyra, noticing that he had her full attention again. When the reached the boiler room, Steele stretched out on a big pillow and waited for the others. They all came in soon after, so Steele looked at Balto, putting on his best "kind" face. "So what's the plan today?" he asked, trying to only sound curious and not growling mad that he would be sharing the lead dog position with this mutt today.
Jenna sighed with happy defeat, glad that her daughter didn't catch on to what was really on her mind. "I know, I know," she said with a smile. "I just think that Steele being on the team has me less trustful that everything will be alright," she admitted, realizing that this issure was also very much on her mind.
"Well, good luck today," Saba said with a bright smile, calling into the boiler room, "Good luck to all of you!" She turned around and trotting back up the way she had come to reunite with her mother and sister.
