But hey, I still like the movie and draw the characters from time to time, and of course, I discuss it all here. It was such a big part of my fandom-life when I was younger, I don't think I can ever see it fading away completely.
So yes, I think I'll always be a fan of sorts, no matter what age. ;) And you can be guaranteed that my future kids will be watching it someday. XD

I can't guarantee that I'll still be a fan of the movies when I'm an adult, but I know that I'll always appreciate them and remember them and the characters for what they are. It's because I can relate to them so well that I'll always like the movie; this is something I can't say for very many other movies I've seen.

Yo, you guys. I'm an adult too! I was a fan since 1995, ever since I first saw the trailers for the film on TV. Although I never saw the film in theaters, I did watch the heck out of that VHS [that I treasure, if only for the cover artwork... Hnnnng, beautiful!] and drew my favorite characters so much even in school.
Of course, my fandom with Balto has also taken a back seat many times throughout the past... wow, 12 years...[wait, wat?], though I'm glad it returned in almost full force when the first sequel, "Wolf Quest" was announced and as the speculations with "Wings of Change" came around. Real life has come into play, and I've had people tell me that I should get out of being a Balto fan, if only because I drew it and wrote stories about them so much... Instead, I've only taken breaks and let my interest fade when drama happens on BS [...you know what I'm talking about] before getting myself to rewatch the series with new eyes; sometimes a break is all you need to notice things you've never caught before!
I know I will always be a fan of Balto, if only because it's an animated movie and I love them all so much. Maybe in a few years it won't be the main focus of my fandom, but I'll always draw characters, write fanfics and maybe even make a funny movie or two! If I ever have kids, I'll definitely take them to see the Balto statue in NYC and get them into the fandom!

I won't be a fan. Never really was a big one to begin with. I'm not the girl to stick to something for long. Thus my occuring habit to love other movies more.
Lolz. In my opinion. And to answer the topic question, no. XDD

I am not sure if I would still be a fan of Balto in the future, but hopefully I would still be.

That sounds like a bit much to go to over a kids' movie.... And by the way, her name is ALEU. Apart from the annoying (and terribly common) misspelling of Aleu's name ( AGAIN), I don't see her hopes for the future as that out of sorts. Sometimes movies or cartoons do inspire people to new directions in their lives. That is not always a bad thing.
As for me, I started this journey as an adult, and was drawn into the real history (which I devote much more loyalty and attention to than the cartoons) because of the first Balto movie. Would it have been different were I a kid or teenager, and was considering the future? As a teenager, I don't know what I would have said quite frankly as, like most people, I have changed in my personality, outlook and life experiences since those years...to some extent at least. But if it helps to put things in perspective, I first watched the animated movie The Secret of NIMH in 1981, when I was a young teenager barely out of my preteen years--when it first came out. That movie still means a heck of a lot to me, as does the original book (which I read first as a child). They still carry a great deal of value and impact to me. The Balto movie, in spite of its many historical flaws and absolute fictions (and there are MANY), still was quite enjoyable to me, and even made something of an emotional impact. So I think it likely that, were I a teenager when I first saw the movie, I would still be a fan as an adult.

I can't predict the future but i think that YES, Balto will still being my inspiration along with Aleu I wanna go to Nome or NY to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the serum run And I really wish my kids also take him as their hero because children now love too scrawny heroes (footballers, wrestlers, etc)

I highly doubt I'll be a fan in A year. I was never really a fan, to start off, so in the future I'll probably be less of a fan. Would I tell anyone about the movie? If they asked. I'm not just gonna start rambling about this movie/the real story.
Is Balto my hero? Ha..... Nope. Not even close. I try to look for someone that isn't a dog to be my "hero".
