OOC::// Accepted and thanks for joining

Candita trotted through the forest with her younger brother, Rosco, at her heels. Earlier this morning, they had left their makeshift den to continue their travels. It had been nearly a month after the stampede, but the siblings had yet to come across another wolf, let a lone a pack of them. Candita slowed her pace as Rosco began to lag behind. She had allowed her eagerness to find some more wolves get the better of her legs and speed her through the trees. She paused to let her brother catch up. He panted slightly as he finally padded to her side again. "Are we ever gonna find somebody out here?" he whined as he sat down.

"Yes, eventaully we will," Candita said with as much of a comforting tone as she could muster. "It just takes some time." She smiled down at her brother and waited for him to grin back at her before starting to walk again. Rosco stood up and scampered behind her.

Ghost ~
Ice. Come back. He said chilly but calm. He had the type of voice that could make anyone think twice, or atleast consider. Please, do it for me. He said softly, staring in a wierd direction. Ice Breaker let out a sigh and walked back slow, taking in all the nature around him. Ghost smiled slightly as he felt Ice's soft but nice nuzzle. Ghost touched Echo, asking him if they were moving. Echo nudged his hip once, that meant yes. Ghost stuck to Echo's side like glue, not straying far enough to get lost.

Kosovo padded a little further ahead now to make sure ther were no major distractions. He sniffed the ground and then the air. He froze in the wind, which carried a sent. He couldn't place the sent just yet, but the it hit him. Wolf. He hurriedly jogged back to his family. "Amber." he said as he padded up to her. "Some others are coming this way. I think we should cut the walk short just to be safe. I don't want it to be someone from my fathers pack." he was speaking in a whisper, not wanting to break the bad news yet about ending the nature walk. "Will you take them back while I check this out?"

Amber ~
She nodded slightly, looking down at her children. Come now children. Her voice as soft as the flowers that began to with and hide beneath the leaves. Amber gently picked up Ghost, making sure not to frighten him in the process. She lead her cubs away from the potential danger, bringing them back to the den to give them all baths and get them ready for dinner. She let a smile spread wide across her soft face. Her eyes tracing Ghost's.

Kosovo watched as his family walked away. As soon as he couldn't see the last pup, he sprinted towards the smell. He paws bounding across the leaves surprisingly silent. He was close to the smell. He came upon what seemed to be a lone wolf. He skidded to a stop and without hesitation growled, "Who are you and what are you doing here?!" The typical imposter line. Kosovo then noticed a small pup behind the wolf, maybe younger than his own. That didn't want to make him let his guard down though.

Candita gasped as a large red wolf suddenly jumped in their path. She mentally scolded herself for not smelling or hearing him coming, but she couched down in a snarl of her own. Rosco cowered behind his sister, crouching low so his nose was almost touching the ground. Candita took a moment to scent the air and quickly realized this wolf owned the territory they were on. A flitter of hope crossed Candi's mind as she thought that this might be the pack she was looking for.

With this in mind, she quickly straightened him but with her ears flat against her head and her tail tucked between her legs to show the alpha male his dominance. "My name is Candita. And this is my bother, Rosco. Our pack was scattered and destroyed. We have been searching for anothiner pack to join since the last full moon." Rosco peeked around his sister, but kept his belly resting on the dirt floor. He really hoped this wolf was friendlier than he seemed. Candi shared this thought and tried to break the tension by asking in a firm but more formal tone. "Who are you, if I may ask?"

Amber ~
She could see Ghost and Echo clearly, they were actually walking with about 6 inches between them. Amber was prouder than ever at her son for being so 'independent'. She loved her sons but felt a stronger place in her heart for Ghost. Was it because he was blind? Deaf? She couldn't figure it out. Amber smiled and said soft and sweet, Be careful children. knowing that Ghost couldn't hear her. She smiled anyway and let a tear fall. I love you Ghost. She sniffled quietly.

Kosovo became less aggressive as Candita introduced herself and Rosco, but he still stood tall to show his dominance. "Kosovo. My mate, Amber, and I raise our pups here. I'm sorry to hear about your pack." he sounded stern but he said the last part sincerely. He thought for a moment about the advantages of letting these two wolves into the pack. It would help greatly to have another adult, especially with the hunting and things going on with his fathers pack. "If you would like to, I would like to extend an offer to join our pack." it seemed weird to call it a pack. Since it was his family, but maybe these two will grow to be like family. "You may come and meet my family if you'd like." Kosovo looked down to Rosco, "I have some pups that would love to meet you." he said smiling to hopefully calm the pup.

Candita's eyes widened in surprise at Kosovo's offer. This was what she had been waiting for ever since leaving her pack, but now that it was actually happening, she had a hard time believing it. Realizing her hesitation might be tranlated as denial, Candi quickly said, "Actually, we've been searching for a pack to join this whole time. We'd love to met your family." She smiled down at Rosco, feeling truely hopeful in their future for the first time.

This positive spirit spread to Rosco as he grinned widely at his sister and back at Kosovo. He hadn't been with other pups for the longest time and just the idea of meeting new wolves around his age was pure excitement for him. His posture straightened up as he gained more confidence that everything was going to be alright. "I think I'd like to meet them as well," he said anxiously, his muscles tensed and ready to run to the wolf family that could become his new pack.

Kosovo could see the excitement in the pups posture. "Well let's go meet them." he said trotting off. He called back, "C'mon!" They weren't too far from the den, which was good. Kosovo made sure they kept their distance from where they saw the bears earlier. They were close to the den and Kosovo called out for Amber. He wanted her to meet Candita and Rosco before the pups did.

Amber ~
She stood up as she heard her name, before walking out of the den she told Echo to make sure Ghost didn't stray to far. She smiled softly and padded to Kosovo. She smiled at the new wolves. Hello, I'm Amber. She said softly, her eyes gazing over their backs and too the trees beyond them. She smiled, leaves falling gently to the ground. The wind was crisp and pine scented.

Candita smiled at Amber, stepping up to introduce herself. "My name is Candita. This is my little brother, Rosco." She retold her story to the new wolf. As she did, Rosco walked to her side and, step by step, he walked farther and farther in front of her. His nose was in the air and his eyes squinted in the distance, obviously trying to catch sight or sound of the pups that Kosovo mentioned. When Candi gave him a look, he quickly retreated back to her side, but he cranked his neck to try to see the den.

Amber ~
She smiled softly, admiring her calmness. It is a pleasure to meet you. She smiled again, her pups soon running to her sides. Ghost and Echo took their time, making sure not to get to far apart. These are my sons, Echo, Ghost, and Ice. She sighed quietly and added, Don't bother talking to Ghost, he is deaf and blind. Her voice cracked and some tears started rolling.

Kosovo nudged Amber to comfort her. "It's alright" he whispered. Then Kosovo noticed his daughter under him. "And these are our daughters Nova and Teagen." he said smiling at the pup looking up at him. He looked to Rosco with a warm smile,"I told you there were pups."

Teagen looked up to her father. He was much taller her, and all she could see was his jaw. She got his attention by pawing at his leg. Now seeing his face she talked quietly, thinking the new wolves wouldn't hear her. "Daddy? Who is that little wolf?" her dad replied with Rosco. "Rosco?" she thought about it for a second, then her eyes lit up. "Can we play with him, Daddy?" "Of course, just not yet." She smiled up at her dad then looked to Rosco.
