"Dad.'' Jaali said, clearly he didn't want her to join their pride. They already have enough members as it is and some lionesses are expecting his father's cub and will be born very soon.

"It's not an invitation to join the pride, son." Ni explained. "It's just for tonight. Why, she must be really tired."

Jaali then looked at Lesedi and saw tiredness in her red brown eyes, Jaali sighed "I guess that's ok.'' He said smiling at his father then looked at Lesedi.

Lesedi tried to blink out the exhaustion out of her eyes, but she couldn't deny how tired she felt. "I guess that's okay too." she said.

Jaali then looked at his father and continued to walk but stopped and waited for Lesedi after his father Ni had started to drag the fresh kill towards their pride and home.

"So this is your home?" Lesedi asked Jaali. They had just come upon a pride of lioness and lions, all eating under the shade of the trees. It was cool and warm, both at the same time. Lesedi felt like this was paradise.

Jaali smiled and nodded, he was beginning to like this lioness but didn't want to say anything because of how his father would react.

The next day, just as Lesedi was about to leave, she suddenly caught the scent of fresh prey. A meal! she thought. She started to go towards it, but remembered that this wasn't her land. She had to ask Ni whether it was alright for her to catch some prey in his territory.

Jaali then opened his green eyes and realized his friend wasn't there he then stretched and got up and walked outside the cave where he found his father Ni and Lesedi talking as he got closer he realized that Lesedi was asking his father if it was ok for her to hunt on his land. She's so beautiful Jaali thought as he watched her graceful body glow in the sunlight.

Lesedi looked back. "Oh, Jaali." she said. "I wanted to ask you something, is it okay if I hunt for a while here before I leave?"

(well, he could have a colour mix of his parents, blue eyes and a reddish-brown mane like his Dad.)
"Thanks." Lesedi smiled. "I'll just hunt one animal and then I'll leave, if that's okay with you."

(not like that, he could resemble Kopa a bit, have his mother's eyes and his father's mane, or how about you give him full eyeshades, genetics from Scar)
Lesedi raised her eyebrows at the young male. "Okay," she sighed happily. "I'll stay for a while."

(Defying helped me with his new design:3). Jaali then looked at his father for an answer for her to stay for as long as she wants.
