Lots of people think that. There are actually many different breeds used for sledding. Most people only think of Siberians because they're very popular, especially in short distance races. Huskies are more of sprinters than endurance runners.

Well,I think he's a mix between an Alaskan Husky and an Alaskan Klee-Klai.He got his lanky shape, long legs, floppy ears, and general build from his Alaskan Husky side, and his color(he looks pretty gray,to me),small size, and blue eyes from his Klee-Klai side(Klee-Klai's are miniature huskies).Of course, that's just my opinion.I know many others think he's a Siberian Husky,I just don't think that. While Siberian Huskies aren't stocky, they aren't thin or lanky either, while Star is. Siberian Huskies are more solidly built than Star.

That breed didn't come into existiance till the 1970's. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaskan_Klee_KaiErr, I'm pretty sure that bringing back old topics is allowed. Check out rule 10: Quote: 10. Oops. Sorry about the Klee Klai thing.Like I've been saying, sometimes I post before I think. So then,I guess that rules out Klee Klai. Then he must be an Alaskan Husky!

I thought you said you were a "dog expert" B. You've said in at least four topics, that I have seen, that you "sometimes post before I think". Perhaps it is about time you take a step back BEFORE posting or replying, and do a little, you know...thinking? That might alleviate some of the difficulties you've been encountering to date.
