I must be going blind, I don't see people complaining about wanting your layouts back. The only people who want your layouts back is your buddies who support you. I saw the polls before you took them down. I believe it was roughly 47% Yes 58% No. Close in number, but no was still winning.

I must say I want new Balto Source layout back. It was awesome. Though we should have a different banner, but the rest of the layout was great.

*sigh* Children are getting so worked up because their mediocre website layouts are at risk of being history.

Now, I'm not friends with Kay. But I will say that her layouts look 100x more professional than any that are being used currently. They aren't cluttered, are very crisp and clean, bright, express what the movie is about, and don't look like they've been edited in MS Paint. She has a firm grasp of what's appealing to the human eye and she obviously has skills worth noting in the medium she uses. It shows in the layouts.

I don't really know why DT is speaking up at all, other than his fwendz are being spoken up against. He doesn't know anything about website design, or really art or editing in general, so I don't see why anyone would want his prejudice opinion on the matter. It sounds harsh, but in all reality no one should speak up about things they don't understand.

I know that Skul and Mighty does alot of the layouts or the banners. I only know this because of the prideful way he shows them off in the shoutbox any and every time I'm on there. Boasting about one's lack of skill reflects on the art itself, and everyone can see it.

And whoever said that how the site looks doesn't effect how active a site is, is VERY. VERY mislead. Now, saying "Alot of people left because I took down my layouts" sounds selfish on a personal level. But when you're someone like me who actually enjoyed the layout despite who did it (at first I thought they had an entirely new recruit for doing the graphics, so the only thing I COULD judge on was the layout itself) everything a website is IS WHAT YOU SEE. So what SENSE does it make that it doesn't matter how it LOOKS? That is the STUPIDEST argument I've ever heard against using Kay's layouts.

As I've said TIME AND TIME before, these Sources are intended for fans of the animated features. I've snuffed off other websites dedicated to my favorite things because of how cluttered and downright ugly they were. How your website looks reflects everything about it: the mods, the administrator, the members, the material. Everything. So steet would be in his first right state of thinking if he allowed, no, WELCOMED Kay's graphics back onto the sources, and I don't think they should be limited to the unpopular ones either. Not only would that increase people coming back on to enjoy a clean, professional-looking website, it'll bring back more intelligent members who partake in interesting conversation and make wonderful contributions to the sites, AND the sources themselves will once again revert back to it's more professional stages. And it's really sad that it has to "revert" back to that, when the majority of the people on this website are wolfaboos and don't care about how the site "looks" as long as they can post whatever they want on it.

Since the layouts are the only thing on topic here, I won't talk about what other cleansing on the sites that need to be done in order for them to be enjoyable. The layouts are the first thing people see, and first impressions are everything after all.

I'm all for you doing Robin Hood and Rio Source, but to be honest, I didn't like the Spirit or O&C banners. Sure, the sites could use some redecorating, but I'd prefer if someone else did it... you are a good graphics editor, yeah, but there are a lot more out there than just you. I, personally, think that it'd be best if someone else did the graphics. Though your designs for Robin and Rio Source are the best for those.

I basically meant that if you did Robin Hood Source and Rio Source, that'd be cool because your designs were the best for those sources.

At the very least I'd like to see Kay's Rio Source layout brought back. Like all the layouts she made, it looked very professional. They were all clean and crisp along with being were very appealing to the eyes. And yes, this actually is important for a website to be successful.
