Wow! The director that owns the company that made this movie couldn't even write a good book about the character their own movie was based off of? That has FAIL written all over it!

If this isn't a sign that Universal no longer cares about Balto, I don't know what is !

This wasn't written by anyone associated either with Steven Spielberg or Universal Studios. Thus the "unofficial" moniker in the title.

And as I previously stated, if it's got "unofficial" in the title, it's not gonna be very reputable. Unless the writer really knows what they're talking about.

And this particular "writer" certainly does not. But I added the comment because he posted after you did. It was not an attempt to ignore what you had posted earlier.

I started reading it, I skipped a couple pages. It was going on and on and on about Speilburg's films. Anyway, I noted these in the links reference XD Even if this book is a clone of Wikipedia for the most part, I still found seeing "Balto Source" in a book amusing.

I didn't bother to finish reading the rest, it's not worth it.

Don't buy this book! Your just buying wikipedia. It's not exact word for word, but compare if you wish. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balto

How much was this book on amazon? You said it's like you're just buying WIKI. Would you know how much it it?

That is exactly what this book is, a wiki clone. Maybe a few words changed around, but that's it.

...I noted that the title is different. They probably sent the wrong book. I can be sure the content is the same though.

I'm willing to make the effort. (Unlike this Author) I live only two and a half hours from universal studios. I could possibly get info there. It's gonna take a lot of other research too, i know

That's a start, not sure if you could get information out of Universal, but that's a good start. Offline resources are good place to look.
