Baby Cakes is one of my favorite episodes so far. The twins were so cute! And we got to see some character grwoth for Pinkie.

Baby Cakes was probably one of my lesser-favorite episodes. Yes, it was good--just not as good as some other episodes I've seen.

Shampoo works great. I managed to tame the manes of my four ponies just fine with shampoo and hot water. Though conditioner works better.

Well, three ponies. Rainbow Dash, Plumsweet, and Honeybuzz went without a hitch. Feathermay's mane refused to cooperate and I ended up braiding it.

Baby Cakes episode: Pinkie Pie's my least favorite pony, but I did like how they showed her character as something more than LOLOLOLPARTYRANDOM.

Derpy...is now OFFICIALLY CANON!

Yeah, some of the more wilder box-hair ones do require a bit of conditioner, that tends to happen. But looks like you found an alternative.

Just be careful if you're planning to get any ponies with tinsel in their hair. The tinsel can become quite frizzy if you wash it with hot water - iridescent tinsel especially. It's best just to use cold water in those cases.
Beware the iridescent tinseled ponies, as the tinsel easily goes wild with play!

Liked the new episode, very good.

But one thing that's ticking me off is people saying the show is "pandering to the base" with the fandom nods. The cast and crew have repeatedly made it known they like the fandom, why can't people just believe they do this because they personally like the ideas? Berry Punch's Fandom Nod in this episode was explicitely said to be because the animator LIKED how Berry Punch was portrayed by fans, not pandering to them. Sigh, I guess people just can't accept that the cast and crew can genuinely like a fandom idea enough to include it...

With a bit of embarrassment I've watched some episodes of FIM and, am actually impressed. Definitely one of the best modern cartoons right now and one of the better more fluid examples of 2D 'cut out' style CGI.

Seems on almost the exact same line as Winnie The Pooh, it's aimed at young kids and is saccharine as they get, but so much is written and designed to make older audiences enjoy it. The humor is witty, the characters are surprisingly three dimentional and it pokes fun of it's cutsiness enough to make it enjoyable without becoming over the top self referencial.

Hurricane Fluttershy is without a doubt my favorite episode of the entire series thus far. I loved everything about it! Definitely an awesome episode!

I think it's my favorite of this season but not my favorite of the whole series. That still goes to Cutie Mark Chronicles for me.

I'm not sure what it is that makes this show so good! Everyone was right when saying to watch a few episodes and you'll be hooked. I haven't caught up with a lot of Episodes into season 2 yet, so I need to. XD But yeah.. All the episodes are so entertaining and I love the characters! Rainbow Dash is definitely my favorite, with Fluttershy following up in second. x3
