I'm not sure if the following bands are techno or not but I'll shoot. I like Jeffree Star, Scotty Vanity, and Panic! at the Disco.

PANIC! At The Disco is more of a alternative/punk band, but they're good!

I thought so but in my iTunes library listed some of their songs as dance so I thought to include them as well.

iTunes is a bit messed up,not that there's anything wrong with it. On one of Linkin Park's albums, it said all the songs swore, including the instrumental, when only two did.

Yeah, same with some of Green Day's albums. It turns out that the "explicit" is just generalized for the whole album because nobody on iTunes wants to take the time to listen to every single song and say "Yeah, this one is not okay," or "This one is fine".

While much of the trance I have is either dance or just straight out rave music, I have a few particular artists and songs that are to my liking.

Markus Schulz is one of my more favorite DJ's, followed by DJ Tiësto, DJ Encore, Funabashi, Pendulum, and about 20 others.

Generally I collect DJ Mix compilations that last about 2 hours a single song or play through my collection of about 2600 songs. But then again... I am a raver. :]

Definitly Jeffree Star. I love him and his lyrics are......odd, to say the least

Here are a few more electronica/techno artists that I highly recommend:

- Juno Reactor (especially Mona Lisa Overdrive, a song featured in the Matrix soundtrack)
- Atlas Plug
- Delerium
- Latin Headhunturz
- Jean Michel Jarre (check out "Areo")
