Obsidian Rock:
I looked from the girl to Smiles-A-Lot. I grabbed her by her hair and put my knife to her throat. Interupt me again, and it'll be both of you. I said with a 'growl.' I pushed her on the ground, patting her horse. Fine horse. I walked off, leaving the girl.

Francheska:
I hurried and picked up my things, my mascara was running because I was crying. I hurried onto Feather and kicked her sides hard. Still crying, I rode home.

Smiles A Lot walked back to his teepee, he swung onto Swift's back and rode his deep into the prairie. He looked at the sky and 'lay' back on Swift's back. Above his, he spotted Talon patrolling the skies. For the moment everything was perfect. He closed his eyes, enjoying the moment of silence.

Obsidian Rock:
I came back to the territory. I picked up the stuff she had left. Looking at it over and over, it looked to be as very valuable rocks. (Diamond earings) I slipped them in my armor and smiled. I had something to trade for anything I wanted and more!

Smiles A Lot was jolted from his peaceful slumber by the pounding of holves, he looked over the plains to find a stray herd of horses, his heart lept with joy. He kicked Swift forward, pulled the tanned skin rope from his bag. He approached the heard flat against Swift's back. It was about time for his third name; he hoped it would have something with horses. He kicked Swift again.

Jaguar Paw:
I jumped on Indian and grabbed some ropes. I rode out into the herd. Taking the finest horses I could. I only brought back 3 and they didn't put up much of a fight, one with a filly following her. Now my son had a horse too.

Smiles A Lot pursued the lead mare and stallion; those two were the crowned jewels of the herd. If he could catch them he had the whole herd. He roped the mare in front, the leather burned his hands; but he held on for dear life. He jumped onto the mares back and 'broke' he as the white people would say, but he did it in a less harsh manner. In about 15 minutes she wasn't fighting him anymore. He Swift ran after them as the rode after the stallion. He roped the big horse, but made no move to jumped onto him. the herd followed him back. He moved them into the main herd and rode the mare, leading the stallion back to his teepee. He tied the two 'green' horses to his post and brushed Swift with the brush he had found in an abandoned white person town.

Francheska:
I looked at my horse and patted her neck. I decided to sneak back at night, by then I will have learned their language and be telling that overgrown turkey a piece of my mind. But something stood in my way... Was it his cold deadly eyes? Or his knife?

Smiles A Lot sat inside his teepee, he began to tie flint arrowheads to the arrow shafts that he had carved earlier. He crossed his lets and chanted softly as he did, asking the spirits for the arrows to be strong and swift, bringing a painless death to the noble creatures he hunted. His hands worked expertly as he did.

Francheska:
I looked up every indian translation I could, learning to speak their language like a pro. I smiled, I knew every word but Love. I hoped I could learn this word in english too, I had forgotten what it ment when my boyfriend left me.

Smiles A Lot finished and walked outside again, where he preferred to be. He stood outside, staring through the fields. He walked towards his small herd; that was now growing and his horses greeted him with nickers and joyful neighs.

Obsidian Rock:
I walked through the horses that Jaguar Paw had brought, I took one of the stallions and tamed his wild spirit. I sat on his back, looking down at Jaguar Paw who was leading the other horses into a make-shift coral.

Smiles A Lot stroked Song's nose with the back of his hand, her filly Lil' One played around her legs. He smiled and walked to the pair of horses he had caught, he let the mare into the herd and approached the stallion. The horse was big, a big, dangerous bay. Smiles A Lot gently touched the horses sides, running his hands down the horse's sides. He smiled, murmuring to the horse.

Jaguar Paw:
I used my gentle kindness to tame the horses. Not harsh and cruel punishments like Obsidian Rock did, I didn't carve my symbol into my horses either, but again Obsidian Rock did. And laughed about it. I sighed and rode around on Indian.

Smiles A Lot tentatively got on the stallions back. He could tell the horse had spirit. He began to jerk in different directions, trying to unseat Smiles, but to no avail. Smiles A Lot clung gently to the horses back trying to show him the advantages of having a rider, the greatness of the partnership between man and horse.

Obsidian Rock:
I rode off, looking for something to do. I saw a baby bison being left behind and I jumped off my horse. Taking my jagged arrow head and jabbing it into his neck. I cut off his meat, looking at my horse starting to turn away.
