"Yep, and the weird thing is i have no dog in me, I look like one though," she said sitting down and curling her tail around her paws. "I'm a Timber and a Baffin Island wolf," she said and then scratched at her ears, and for a second her collar flashed, it was black and had a couple of diamonds on the collar.

Solomon smiled and sat down. "I'm a Tamaskan Dog wolf minx...the thing is I don't look like a dog at all." He sat straight, a head taller than her. "My brothers and I were told not to associate with humans at an early age, but my brothers find them exremely fascinating for some reason." he chuckled.

"Probably because they give us free food at times," she said looking into his eyes and quickly looked back at his empty neck. "Is it different to not have a collar on?" she asked.

He gave a small nod. "Very. My father used to have a tattered old collar that he gave to me. It broke but I keep it at my den for safe keeping. Without a collar you feel so...so...free. Like no one can hurt or tame you." he said, his eyes locked on hers. He cleared his throat adn looked down at his paws.

"Well... I guess I.. um.. I should go check on Kodi," she said and slowly stood up, her tail flicked a bit and her ear twitched.

Solomon stood and nodded. "Yeah. Uh...bye." he said. he backed into a pole and muttered somethign under his breath before trotting off. "Stupid! 'You feel like no one ccan hurt or tame you'?! Idiot!" he muttered to himself.

Notice kept walking along heading back to the old factory to check on Kodi.

Solomon walked past his brothers who now snuck in the back of the butcher's shop and kept walking. Santiago and Snowshoe looked up to watch him leave, their ears flattening against their skulls.

"What did he do?" Santi muttered. He shrugged it off and snuck back into the butcher's.

Next morning...

Notice was off on her daily run, but it was a quick one, she was back before the sun even rose. but the sky was still orange. She shook the snow off of her and sat down, waiting for the musher to take her leash off.

Santiago adn Snowshoe were in Nome again. They'd decided to come here for some food instead of hunting. Solomon wasn' twith them that day.

"What do you think's wrong wiht Solo?" Snow asked.

Santi rolled his eyes. "I dunno...but Solo's a big boy. He can handle himself."

Notice's leash was soon off her collar, and she brushed her fur down where he collar was and started to bound off for her food to eat up.

There was shouting adn the sound of gunshots and the two brothers dashed out of the butcher's shop. Santi carried a good sized steak in his mouth, Snowshoe carrying a roll of sausage links. They bounded off quickly, passing by Notice. Gunshots whizzed by their head, only making them run faster.

Notice quickly jumped at the gun shots and soon all the dogs where running for their musher. Notice, after seeing them pass her. Ran for the alley way, and her ear was hit by the bullet. She yelped and jumped in the Alley way before being hit again.

Santiago raced on but Snowshoe stopped. He had heard her yelp adn trotted back to the alleyway where she was. He was abotu to walk over to her when a gunshot whizzed right by him. He jumped and raced after his brother, quickly catchign up iwht him. Soon teh two had disappeared adn the butcher stopped shooting hsi gun.

Notice knew that her ear was bleeding, she could feel it. She slowly got up and slowly came out of the alley way.
