Gilbert raised his head at Finn's arrival, and blinked his glowing red eyes.
"The total un-awesomeness has returned." He teased with a smirk, shaking some newly fallen snow off of his white coat. He yawned, laying his head back down and glancing back at the small yellow Gilbird perched on his shoulder.

Lana's dark hazel eyes perked up immediately as the familiar scent of her best friend entered her nostrils. She picked her head up off her paws, glancing over at Finn from her spot in the back of the camp, where she spent most hunting nights. Her head turned to Gilbert and shot him a swift glare for the comment before she stood up from her laying position and padded towards Finn. By his posture, Lana could easily tell that Finn knew the hunters were out and that he wasn't okay about it. A tinge of guilt tugged at her heart like it always did on nights when her brother left with the other hunters. Attempting to convince herself it wasn't her fault Luke went out hunting humans, Lana finally took a seat on the frozen ground beside Finn. "There's just no stopping them, is there?" she asked him with obvious dispair.



Luke slunk through the quiet houses, lifting his muzzle to sniff the air every few steps he took. His dark brown fur bristled at every noise, but he focuses on keeping his paws moving through the human town, the sickening scent of them all over the place. But all these trails were old; there was nothing new to discover. Just when he was about to call off the hunt for the night, a perfume surrounded his noise that instantly told his brown a female lurked just around the corner. Luke quietly huffed at the female hunter nearest him, a slender white and gray wolf, then the red female who stood a bit farther off. He nodded towards the black haired human girl, silently asking Mika and Wren if they thought she was good enough to bring back to camp for the kill.

Alred padded into the area were many of the wolves. He had a rabbit in his mouth and flopped down and began eating. He looked around while eating seeing Gilbert and Lana then saw Finn and paused eating for a secound, but soon countioued. He soon started playing with his food happily due to him being board.


Aeron walked through the dark forest slowly and carefully. The further he got into the forest the more he felt his heart race from fear or just revenge. Aeron paused looking at the ground and saw tracks of wolves. He smiled and started to follow.

Wren trotted cheerfully around the outskirts of the town, just in case. She didn't mind patrolling, in fact, she found it rather amusing. Especially so when she came across a human in the dark of night. She almost mastered the art of stealth killing. Very few could ever tell when she'd killed, except her pack of course. But they only knew because they could smell it, and of course there was a certain devious sparkle in her eyes after a killing. Wren found it absolutely hilarious when people were shocked at her lust for blood. "She just looks so innocent!" they'd always say. Especially after the discovery that she killed her mother. Eight lives were taken that night, including four police, two detectives, her mother, and a canine unit. Wren was proud.

Derryn lay by a tree in the snow, pretending to be asleep as everyone conversed. She had been in a "loner mood". That's what her brother called it. Her brother was a police officer, who had been killed in a most grotesque massacre along with seven other victims, one being the murderers mother. Derryn though it was sick. She had heard rumors that it was a young girl who had committed the crime, but she had her doubts about it. The only way a young girl would be able to commit such a crime is if she was a werewolf. Or so Derryn thought. She had also heard that a pack member, Wren, had gone bonkers and killed her mom, but Derryn never thought to put two and two together. She wished she could sleep. She was alone and hungry, and sleep would get her mind off of it, but deep down she knew she wouldn't get sleep tonight. Not with the recent terrors in the pack.

Jaq was at the campsite for the wolves pacing back and forth trying to keep somewhat warm. He looked at the expressions of the others as he paced. He could tell a lot of them were not happy about the hunt tonight, but that wasn't the biggest of Jaq's worries, he has to make it through another freezing night, and hopes he can see the sun in the morning.

Mika was not paying attention to her packmates. She didn't see why she would need to. The light coated female believed she was able of finding a human herself; she didn't need no help. Hearing a faint huff of a male standing nearby she snapped back to reality and immediately felt a fresher trail of a human, eventually spotting one. A dark haired female, wandering out alone. She couldn't be more stupid, couldn't she? Mika turned to the two other hunters, and after realizing the question she nodded slightly. While not the best kind of victim they might have picked, she seemed worthy enough.

Gilbert shot Lana a darker glare, and huffed, listening to the Gilbird tweet in his ear. He snickered and stood, trotting over swiftly and snatched the rabbit up from Alfred before trotting back to his place.
"Hah. still more awesome."

Finn rolled his eyes and grunted at Gilbert , then he perked and turned to Lana, he sighed and lowered his ears shaking his head in clear defeat. "No... this is the new order, and we can't protest against it..." he sighed.

Glancing around with careful brown eyes, Kenya spoke up, which was highly unusual for the quiet young wolf. "We could," she said, her soft words hanging heavily in the frozen air. Unused to speaking up, and a bit nervous at her traitorous statement, she curled up into a tighter ball, the slight cover the bush sheltering her offered welcome in her discomfort. Her small black ears pressed tightly againt her head, she glanced around, wondering how they would react to her quiet, solemn statement.

Lana's head snapped in Kenya's direction, not expecting her of all wolves to speak up. Recovering from her shock, Lana finally said in a voice much more stern than she meant, "And then they'd kill us." Quickly realizing that came out rude, she added, "I mean, I'm completely against the hunting, of course. But I'm not about to go up against the alpha. I know my place, and I know that alone, none of us stand a chance." She made sure to whisper all this only to the wolves nearest her so no allie of the alpha would over hear and tattle on the traitorous talk. "Besides, what could we do?"



Luke turned back to the human girl after acknowleding Mika's agreeing nod. He began to stalk around the building silently, circling around the girl to catch her from the side. That way, there would be little chance of her running and escaping. Luke waited until the girl was in the perfect spot before lunging towards her, aiming his jaws for her upper arm. After all, they couldn't kill her. Yet.

Finn seemed distant his gaze far of and deep with thought. "A rebellion..." he said blinking out of thought and folding his ears back. "The alpha doesn't scare me..." he began louder than he should have. "Why I'd risk my pelt to help the next human they drag in here!" he boasted "This pack is nothing but cowards and murders, then there's us... but this pack has never had to deal with a rebel before..."

"Psh. Yeah but you guys are all crazy. Have you seen the hunters?" Gilbert huffed, arching an eyebrow.

Alfred stopped eating and at Finns words and walked over. He sat down beside the wolf ignoring Gilbert's comment. "Dude, I totally agree with you. I think its just awful seeing the humans die.. and expescially if they aren't that bad," he said looking at his paws with a paw.

Lana's spirits lightened at Finn's suggestion and Alfred's agreement. Could this group of young wolves really stand up against the alpha and his hunters? "Do you think it would work? A rebellion?" Lana asked, a smile twitching at the edge of her lips at the idea of not having to hide in the woods while another human came to die or living in fear of the alpha. To Lana, that world seemed like paradise.

Gil huffed, nobody listened to his awesome-self. He stood and grumbled something about making rounds, before trotting off.
