Aleu padded along scenting the air trying to distinguish between the fimilar odors of town and the vivid smells of the wild. She had decided to head for the boat to see if her father was around but judging by his recent absense and the sight of Boris bustling about the deck meant that her father was probably gone...again. She sighed and then her ears perked up a bit. Another male? Slowly she approached him.
"Um....hello. What are you doing here?"

"oh, im just waiting for Balto, im Luke." he said as he looked at Aleu and his stomach went in a knot.

Aleu: "Join the club" she growled sarcastically sitting down beside him. For a moment she allowed herself a glance at him. She had to admit to herself that he was very handsome and kinda cute.....
"So are you new here? Why are you looking for Balto?"

Aleu: Tilted her head to one side and smiled at him. "Well it doesn't look like he's around and knowing my father he won't be back for a while. Would you.....that is...would you allow me to show you the sights Luke. I know I'm no hero of Nome but I know the ins and outs of this place like the back of my paw." Aleu stood up wagging her tail at the prospect of showing him around. "What d'ya say? Are ya game?"

Aleu: "Alrighty then" she yipped happily blushing a bit at how obvious she was being. She had to be smooth, calm. Taking a breath she trotted along back towards town her tail held high and a confident gait to her stride. "Welcome to Nome Luke" she said off handedly. "So being new, where are ya from big guy? Nanana? Vinsk? Some foriegn part of the world?"
