Jack turned towards them and puffed out his chest, not backing down from the pair.

"I was just passing through - The names' Jack. 'Lucky Jack' to my friends."
He spoke with a soft British accent, almost like he had lost part of his accent over some years.

Julia’s expression lighten up and her fur slowly dropped back into place. “Really?” she asked and stepped to Jack with a curious look across her lupin face.

Shredder growled as his friend steeped around him and to the stranger.

”Relaaaax, Shreds.” Julia said, stretching the vowel in the word. “He’s not gonna hurt me,” she turned back to Jack. “Are ya, Doggy?”

Jack huffed and puffed his chest out.

"I would never hurt an ally, if you are one."
He shot a glance at Shred

”Yep” she said proudly. “I could tell you were a Lycan. It was your scent that told me so.” She smiled. “So nice to see another one of our kind out here after those Werewolves took over at least half of the forest.” she grimaced as she mentioned the Werewolves and sat down.

Shredder glared back at Jack. He didn’t trust just anybody around Julia, Lycan or not, until he got to know them first

Jack was taken back.
"You- you're like me? I've never met another like me before. . "

“Really? Well I used to live with a whole pack of Lycans, but...” she trailed off with a sad looked in her eyes. “My clan was...killed by the Werewolves.” A few seconds of silence passed then she added, “But then I met this guy.” she smiled as she turned her head to Shredder. “Found him snared in a hunter’s trap and freed him. He’s stuck by my side ever since.”

Shredder managed to crack the tiniest of smiles that a wolf could manage.

”But, enough about me. What about you, Lucky?”

He made another scoffing noise, and turned his head, staring into the distance at nothing in particular.

"It's . . . . . involved. Kind of a mood killer, really. Can you still take human form?"
He asked glancing out the corner of his eye at them.

”Well, I can,” Julia said, standing up. “But, uh, he can’t!” She turned smirking at Shreds. “He’s just a boring ol' wolfy, aren't ya, Shredder?” She started laughing

Obviously not amused, the reddish-brown wolf rolled his eyes. “Least I don’t get cold like you do,” he said gruffly, looking at Julia in time to see her attempt to poke out her lip as she did in her Human form, causing him to laugh a bit

Jack smiled softly,
"It's been so long since I could actually speak to someone, living around humans, a wolf speaking tends to freak them out. . "
He took a step towards them.
"Need a hunter and tracker?"

“Hey, you!” Shredder had jumped up and placed himself in Jack’s way. “We don’t need your help.” He stared down with a icy eyes at the Lycan and growled a warning at him, then he turned and walked past Julia. “C’mon,” he commanded. “We’re leaving.”

Julia couldn’t believe what she was hearing. “Shreds, he’s one of us. We could use his help.”

“Julia, he’s not one of us. He’s one of you.”

“Well that doesn’t mean anything at all!” Julia exhaled deeply and stood by Jack. “I’m staying cuz we’re gonna need his help

Jack made a barking noise at Shredder, and made no move to back down, being larger than the others, he had to bow his head a little to glare back into his eyes.

Shredder stopped and snorted at them both. A few seconds passed as he tried to stare down Jack, Shreds’ fur dropped back into place and he exhaled through his nose and he looked at Julia

”C’mon, you guys,” she said troting through the woods

Werewolf Pirate · **Posted:** Thu Nov 10, 2011 8:23 pm

Jack raised his head again, and turned keeping an eye on Shredder.

"Honestly,” Julia said as she trotted through the woods with the other two canines. “I have absolutely no idea where we’re headed to, but” she paused a bit and looked behind her at Shredder and Jack. “I pray we don’t run into any Werewolves.”

Jacks' eyes narrowed in anger at the mention of every Lycans' enemy; werewolves.
"Wastes of fur, the lot of them. . "
