Scootaloo started up her wings and took off after the group.

"Um...Twilight, could you maybe repeat that a little...slower? Please?" asked Fluttershy in her typical meek tone.
Rarity ran up, panting. "Twilight, I don't think I've ever seen you run that fast, whatever is wrong?" she asked, now concerned.
Twilight caught her breath. "We got a letter from Princess Celestia," she explained, lifting up the letter and openning it. "Dear my dearest student; you and your friends must hurry to Canterlot as fast as possible. A mysterious entity is attacking the palace. I will try to stop it, but if I fail, the Elements of Harmony may be the only thing that can stop it. I have a very bad feeling about this, please hurry. Princess Celestia," she read, worry clear on her face, panicked. Which was no suprise, considering how much Celestia meant to her.
Fluttershy gasped. "Oh no...I sure hope it isn't Discord again..."
"You and me both, Fluttershy," said Rarity, worry in her tone before she looked to Twilight, who was worried sick. "Don't worry yourself, Twilight, I'm sure the Princesses can handle themselves until we can get there," she said, trying to be reassuring.
As the Cutie Mark Crusaders arrived, Applebloom ran to her sister. "What's happening, sister?" she asked, worried, particularally with Twilight looking so worried.

"But remember, if it tries to seperate us like Discord did, let's not fall for it this time, ok?" asked Fluttershy, giving a shudder remembering the whole Discord incident.
Twilight nodded in agreement. "Agreed. Let's hurry, Celestia is strong, but if this has her worried, we can't take any chances!"
"Can we come?" asked Applebloom.
"Yeah! We want to see you save the world!...Again!" exclaimed Scootaloo.
"No," said Rarity, sternly. "This is too dangerous for little fillies, after what Discord did, I don't want to risk something happen to any of you."
"Aww, we won't get in the way promise!" replied Applebloom.

Fluttershy nodded. "Yes, saving the world is awfully dangerous."
Rarity nodded as well. "So stay here with Applejack's family, they'll keep you safe," she stated.
"Alright, let's go now!" exclaimed Twilight, still panicked. "And remember! Stick together! We don't want to get seperated!" she stated, running off towards Canterlot, Rarity and Fluttershy following quickly after her.

Twilight gasped, looking around. "She must be at Sugercube Corner!" exclaimed Twilight. "Rainbow Dash, can you get her while I get my balloon ready? It's faster than going on foot!"

Twilight nodded, quickly running nearby to where she kept her hot air balloon. For stoarge reasons, it was kept at Fluttershy's, as there was no room for it anywhere else. Settling it up and tying it down, she lit the fire to begin filling the balloon itself. "Well when Rainbow Dash comes back, she can pull it like Fluttershy did before, that'd be fastest...other than that, I'm not sure what to do to be honest..." she siad, complete worry on her face. "Princess Celestia...I hope you're alright..." she muttered to herself.

"That party to celebrate beating Discord lasted three weeks..." said Rarity, remembering it.
"No time for small talk! The Princess is in danger! Everyone, into the balloon!" ordered Twilight, worked up at the fact her beloved mentor might be in mortal danger. She used her telekinesis to practically throw most of the group into the basket, except Rainbow Dash. She got in and secured a rope, throwing the other looped end to Rainbow Dash.
"Twilight," said Fluttershy, getting up in the basket. "We're all worried about the princess...please calm down a little...if you don't mind..." she said, in her normal timid tone that she barely ever lost.
Twilight gave a sigh. "...Sorry...Princess Celestia means a lot to me...it's just got me really worked up that she's in trouble..." she replied, then looked to Rainbow Dash as she untied the tethers holding the balloon to the ground. "Think you can pull?" she asked. "You're the best flyer here..."

Rarity watched the balloon move forewards. She was thankful for Rainbow Dash's speed and strength.

Celestia crawled away from Ruin as the mysterous attacker flickered back from another form, badly beaten up and her crown taken off her head. She was actually bleeding from a blow to the head that'd knocked the crown off, something she'd forgotten she was capable of. Ruin slowly walked over to her, putting a foot on her back. "Well well, is that all you've got, mother?"
Celestia looked up at her attacker. "You...you tricked me..." she retorted, her vision blurring. The blow to the head had dazed her and made it difficult to remain conscious.
Ruin laughed. "I tricked you?" he asked, giving a smirk. "All I did was use my natural powers to gain the upper hoof, so to speak. It's your own fault for being stupid enough to fall for it."

Twilight looked down and saw Princess Luna running along the road. "There's Princess Luna!" she exclaimed, knowing now something MUST be wrong for the Princess of the Night to be out during the day. She lowered the balloon nearby. "Princess Luna!" she called, hoping out of the balloon.
OOC: I hope you're alright with the blood and stuff. I was just trying to show that Ruin is ruthless and brutal.
