Alfred watched the people come to shore, while Arthur removed his shirt to ring out the water.
"I know." Alfred said, flashing his signature 'hero' smile. He ran up to the treeline, and turned around.
"Could someone find me a rock?" He asked, looking around for some sticks. Arthur stared a moment, then sighed. Oh my god.. He thought, ringing the last of the water out of his shirt.

Ethan shrugged and went over and pick a rock that fit in his palm. He gave the kid named Alfred and asked, "Is this okay?"

Dave finally managed to stand up, and walked up to a few people who were trying to make fire. He noticed how one boy was really sure he knew how to make fire and stuff. Normally such confidence would've driven Dave crazy, but in this situation it was kinda needed. Dave thought he could also be helpful here, so he started picking up some random sticks that were laying on the ground, and giving him to the kid, not saying a word.

Alfred nodded vigourusly, glancing at Arthur, who was pulling his shirt back on.
"Yeah that's perfect, thanks, uh..Evan?" He guessed, clapping the guy on the back. Alfred looked up at Dave, adjusting his crooked glasses, shining his sparkling blue eyes. He grinned again.
"Gee, thanks!" He said, running back to the group. He found another smaller rock, and made a pile of dry leaves and then slammed the rocks together repeatedly. It sparked, catchiung the leaves quickly. He placed the twigs and sticks ontop and the pile lit some flames, soon growing. He held out a hand to Ethan, "Alfred Jones." He said.

Ethan nodded and shoke Alfred's hand, "Ethan, Ethan Johnson," He said smiling a little. He looked over at Vanessa and said, "If I were you I would get near the fire and warm up, don't want to catch the flu," He said turning back to look at the fire. He always amired fires for some reason. He always ended up staring at them. While everyone dried off by the fire Ethan looked around on the outskirts of the forest and fianlly found what he needed. He sat down on a rock a little farther away from the fire and everyone eles. The thing he was holding was a long straight stick. He pulled out a small pocket knife he cared around in his sock and started to scrape the wood of the stick.

Alfred smiled. "Oh, Ethan, sorry." He said, then walking over to the fire. Arthur stood by it, shivering.
"Da** I hate the water.." Arthur growled, and sat down slowly beside the fire. Alfread chuckled, and took of his coat, laying it over Arthur's shaking shoulders. Arthur sat still for a moment, glaring at Alfred, who smiled.
"Fine.." The brit mumbled, pulling the coat on all the way.

"Alright." Vanessa smiled at Ethan. She then walked closer to the fire. She could feel herself shaking slightly, which was mostly the result of the cold she most likely caught. She decided to sit down on the sand near the fire.
Vanessa finally felt warm. She smiled slightly, loving the cozy feeling of warmth. She sneezed again. "Hopefully it's nothing serious." She thought to herself. She turned her head to see what others were doing. Her lips were curled into a smile.
She may not like being sick, but she did like the warmth of the fire, and the happiness she got from that overshadowed any negative feelings. She didn't like negativity, anyway.

Dave also sit near the fire, nearby Vanessa. He looked at the fire, and kept thinking on who and when would find them here in this island, and if this island is or isn't close to any continent, or maybe even a part of it. He looked at his scarred arms and legs, there was blood dripping out of few of the scars. He picked out a cloth he had in the pocket in his jeans, and cleaned the blood off. Then looked around at other people.

"Nice day, huh?" Vanessa broke the silence. "Not the luckiest one I got, but hey. We made it out alive." She smiled sweetly. She spoke to both of the people next to her, Arthur and Dave.
She tried to pick her words carefully. She did not want to start a fight, so she tried not to sound too cheerful. That would anger some people, that's for sure.
Vanessa looked around yet again. Despite everything that happened to her today, and the cold, she was feeling pretty happy. She didn't even know why, she just did. Maybe she actually wanted some adventures?
She wasn't an adventurous girl, but she did get bored. Today was an out of ordinary day. Maybe she enjoyed it? She didn't know. She was just happy.

Alfred glanced over at Vannessa.
"Yeah, i mean, besides the wreck and stuff..." He chimed, deffinently not as careful. Alfred grinned at the group.
"At least we're alive, and warm. Now we just need food...and somewhere to sleep..." His voice trailed off, and Arthur sniffled. He was in no way crying, but he felt his throat itch. I can't get sick! no way.. He thought, coughing suddenly.

Ethan spoke up at Alfred's comment, "I'm working on getting food right now," He said lefting the stick. "I'm trying to make this stick into a weapon to hunt for food. I'll attach my pocket knife to it when I'm done," Ethan said sharpening the stick. When he heard a small cough from Alfred he looked up and sighed.

"True. " Vanessa smiled at Alfred and then started looking into the fire. "I'm positive we'll find the food, and a place to sleep." She said, somewhat to herself and somewhat to the other people. She noticed Arthur coughing. She looked at him with a concerned face, but did nothing.
She then looked up at Ethan. "Great idea, Ethan." She smiled.
"I know we're going to get food. And a shelter. We'll get out of here, eventually, as well." She thought to herself. Despite their situation, she was still rather positive about everything. But not in an irritating, cheerful way. Rather in a hopeful, but calm way.

Alfred pulled Arthur over to him, to try and warm his friend up some more. The brit snorted, and glared, inching away.
"Great idea Eth," Alfred piped, grinning as usual. Arthur found his optomism quite annoying, though it was comforting at some points. The European sighed, and looked around.

Cassie was glad to see everyone working together, though she felt sort of useless having no camping skills herself. She mainly stood off from the rest of them, which was an unusual thing for her to do since Cassie enjoyed being socail and meeting new people. She just help Sophie out of the water as she finally swam to the shore. But she immediately made for the warm fire, leaving Cassie alone again. Not being able to take it anymore, Cassie finally walked over to Xander who had offered to make a fire first but had been beaten to the actual assembly of it by Alfred. "I'm sure you're fire would have been just as good," she said to Xander when she came up next to him in a slightly teasing but kind tone. She watched the others all relax around the warm fire, and although Cassie would have loved to join them and dry off her damp clothing, she knew that the group of them couldn't stay on this beach all night without some better sleeping arrangements. "We do still need a shelter," Cassie stated glancing up at Xander. "Any ideas, cowboy?" She had noticed his slight accent earlier when he spoke, so the nickname just seemed to come naturaly.

Sophie sighed loudly as she settled down on the sandy ground beside the fire. She reached her hands towards the fire to warm them, but she was still shivering slightly. She didn't pay much attention to the conversation until she heard one of the boys talk about hunting for food. Her stomach churned at the thought of hunting down whatever animals were on this island. "You can't be serious," she scoffed, glancing at the others who all seemed okay with this idea. "Like, ew! I'd rather not eat wild pig and flamingo for breakfast."

Ethan looked up at Sophie, and sighed, then said, "Would you rather die of starvation or eat an animal," Ethan said getting a little irettiated. "I choose to eat the animal, what about you," he said looking her in the eyes.
