go hate on me if you want , i still believe scar is kovu's father. only because Disney is big on insect . in Bambi , Bambi and faline where cousins , and they had twin fawns together in the end of the movie . and this article proves scar is kovu's father : http://www.lionking.org/~vakasi/scans/2.jpg and far as kovu , nuka , and vitani's mom , it HAS to be zira . the second movie is official , and states so.

I'd like to believe that Scar is Kovu's father. Come on, they look enough alike, as do Mufasa and Simba. Despite what Simba's Pride says, I really don't believe a word of it. It's hard to considering its so messed up, but that's another story entirely.

Kovu could be Scar's son, but his mother (if his mother isn't Zira for the sake of argument) is a lioness from the pride. Sure, wouldn't that make sense? Yes it would.

Or his father (if it's not Scar) could be a rogue that Zira used to get a good, strong heir for Scar.

Despite what the movie says, any one of these theories (and I'm not the only one who thinks like this) is possible.

Wereberus (soz if i mispelled ur name) i have the same theory! Chumvi is Kovus father and i have proof! But i also have a question... The proof is: Kovu does NOT look even a GLIMPSE like Zira OR Scar! The only lion that looks like Kovu is Chumvi and thats my proof! He even appeared in a comic article to be Kovus father! But heres my question: If Zira mated with Chumvi... But bear this in mind that Chumvi has blue eyes and Zira has red eyes... The thing is... If they have that colour of eyes then... Where did Kovu's green eyes come from? There is a possibility that Kovu MAY be related to Scar yet there is another that says there isnt! If you agree reply to me!

I think all of you Will hate Me,but after Me,Zira is the Daughter of Taka/Scar AND Sarabi. Why?
She has an Outlander Built,Showed Claws,The Nose Like Taka/Scar.
Her Colour Is Likeable to Sarabi's,She had Red/Orange Eyes,Ear Rims,Eye Ring Form and thinkable Sarabi's Tailtuft Colour.
Well,her Stripe can come from Sarabi's or Taka's/Scar's Side,while Sarabi originally had a Stripe.
Well,then,Kovu is After Me Son of Chumvi and Kula. A Mixed Chumvi's and Kula's Film Colours of DJ88,well,the Cub that Come out looks most Likely Kovu.

I personal think that Kovu isnt Scars but they look simmerlar to each other "well they say in humans everyone has a double". Plus in the Lion King 2 SP both Nuka and Kovu state that Scar wasn't Kovu's father.

Well, it couldn't be scar. There's too much proof to disprove this idea.

Despite what Simba's Pride says, Scar could be Kovu's father, or he couldn't be. The matter is open to interpretation.
