When I was a little kid I LOVED the movie soooo much, I thought it was just like the first and that the only charactor I didn't like at all was Nuka(idk why). Haha I remember when I was little I actually couldn't tell if Vitani was a girl or a boy  . I first thought she looked like a boy but without much of a mane.

But now I am so ashamed of Disney for letting "this" happen. I love Lion King basicly because it made my childhood. I never really liked any kids movie at that age, but when I saw Simba's grand adventure all I wanted to do was sing, dance, and eat bugs  .

The one thing that annoyed me the most was the animation. I hated it, and I mean HATED it. It was so cheesy and they charactors looked like they were walking in mid air half the time. I loved the bright, detailed, one of a kind animation of the original movie, and in the second on none of the charactors looked the same. They went from bright gold/yellow with red hair to shaded deep orange with darker orange hair. Out of all charactors I thought simba looked the worst. He looked nothing like the Simba in TLK, if it wasn't for the voice I would have never recondnized him. (also didn't he get kinda fat in SP?lol) Nala,Timon,Pumba,Zazu didn't look too bad though.

Also I thought the music was cruddy, I liked "He Lives In You" and kind of "not One Of Us", I loved "We Are One" until I read the lyrics and realized that it didn't make much sense and poor Kiara never got her questions awnsered.Though I think its alright now. Some of the songs still speak to me, just not the way TLK songs do.

As for charactors I love Kovu, wtf I don't know why everyone's rippin on him. He's a super cool-cat, spunky,calm,smart-alexy kind of dude I'd wanna be friends with. I always liked Vitani, she was like a female Kovu but just never got too many lines or parts in the movie.Which I find a real shame. Kiara was good as a cub but as she grow up she just became a typical teenager. Nuka I didn't care for at first but than I came to really respect him.You can't help but feel bad for him. I just don't like how Simba's personality went with his appearence. I understand why he is so over-pretective, but there's something else that's just off, I can never really figure it out. Rafiki changed in personality as well, he went from the goofy, crazy, whitch-doctor to an annoying stalker who sang a stupid little love song and didn't do much else. Nala only said like two sentences and was never seen again, the same thing with Zazu! Sarabi wasn't even in it all!!!and I found her as an important charactor. Also there should have been at least one part of the movie where Timon and Pumba went on some sort of crazy adventure or something, other than just saying a couple goofy things. And don't you think Scar and Mufasa should have been mentioned a little bit more? None of these charactors had a backround and barley anyone was likeable. It would have been a bit better if they didn't cut out the deleated scenes.Seriously.

Sorry I know I'm a chatter box here. :eye:

And the whole Romeo&Juiliet thing was way too Obvious and overated. It needed more twists and turns. (well that only my opinion lol)

Horrible animation, horrible music, horrible charactors, horrible stoy line, horrible theme, too maney plot holes and careless mistakes, DEFFINETLY does not live up to the wonderful Lion King. I'll still watch it, its still a fun, entertaining movie but somehow I also kinda don't like it hahaha.

Could you explain why it's your favorite, and why you think it lived up to the first movie, TLKGIRL98?
