The only time they taught me in school about Balto was in the third grade on an eight year old "can you read this level" book. They never really gave Balto some feed-back, what completely happened. I Would love to spread the word, in a good way, in school. Koak you've got my vote!

OH! That [ ^ ] reminds me. Back in... geez... it was my first school, so between K-3rd grade, I vaguely remember a reading time when at my small school's even smaller library, and we were read a Balto book. I believe it was either 'The Bravest Dog Ever: The True Story of Balto', or 'Balto And The Great Race'. Which ever one mentions a musher taking the place of one of his dogs that died. Only remember that bit cause of how depressing I thought it was. And I think I have both now, but they're at home.

Is the book "Bravest Dog Ever" a book over a hundred page because I want to use it as book report.

Well I can get my hands on a kids book of Balto at the libary, but that would be embarassing to me.
I think Balto is great for a history report.

I just hope that these kids understand because it's so hard to get a message through to people anymore
