Emerald turned at the sound of Declan's voice and smiled. She tucked her hair back behind her ear. "Oh. Hey, Declan. Everything's going good. I finally got accepted into the college I applied for. But don't worry. I won't be going until 4 years, though." She responded, winking. Her emerald-green eyes sparkled in the light.
Emerald didn't want to admit it to herself, but she had a MAJOR crush on Declan. She couldn't help but feel like she was in heaven when she heard his voice. And his face... oh, his face!! It was perfect. Like an angel from heaven.
'He's just a friend, he's just a friend, he's just a friend...' She kept repeating in her mind.
She faced back to Jade. "So whatcha plannin' on doin' this weekend?" She asked.
