Absinthe came forward. "Y-yeah..." she said uncertainly. This new wolf could be a spy, but what did they have to lose? "That stuff I threw on you... it was a bottle of my tears. I know that sounds weird but my tears are poisonous. They can either heal wounds or burn skin, but if I get it in someone's eyes I can control them for a little bit-"
"Abby." Natrix snapped under his breath. He was super protective of his sister, and he felt that if Ven was a spy, at least she would be able to get off clean. Too late now. He turned back to Ven. "Fine, if you must know, I create portals. What do you do?"

Nate watched his actions closely. He flicked his gaze in between Ven and Abby, wondering what was going on. He stood at attention, ready to intervene if the new guy tried anything.
Absinthe flattened her ears back, her eyes darting all around. "Sooo..." she said. "What am I thinking of?"

Right then, Abby's stomach growled. She flattened her ears back more and her tail pricked up. "He's... right." she told Natrix, sort of in shock. Suddenly, her expression became happy and bouncy again. "And chocolate chip cookie ice cream sounds really good right now!"
Natrix cocked his head to one side, grinning at Abby but then switching his gaze to the new wolf. "Alright then, kid." he said casually. "I guess you've got a bit o f talent yourself."
