Animated one, the real balto is just...well..

If you knew a good bit of the details about the true story of the serum run and balto you probably wouldn't like him as much anymore either. Togo is the Dog to triumph, not balto...thats my opinion anyways.

Cartoon balto all the way, he was pretty okay for a animated doggy.

He chose his words poorly, maybe, but what he said is more or less right. The movie does present a fabricated, untruthful version of the historical events. And, thus, it does present a lie. In fact, a series of lies. Not that it isn't an entertaining movie...well-animated, well-scored, well-acted, etc. But it is a tissue of lies. I did a topic once comparing the misinformation shown in the movie to the actual historical events. I may have to resurrect that topic in this board, as it is no longer on the forum at all. May even have to do it as an article on Balto Source.
