The air was cool with the smell of pine trees. Scarlett had just woken up and was still tired from running around late at night. She went out of the barn. Wondering were the rest of her crew was on the sled team.

Riley awoke to the sun creeping in through the window of the team shed where he slept. He blinked the sleep from his eyes and yawned loudly. He looked around himself and spotted his teammates getting up. He never thought he would be the leader of a team. "Hey, guys. Ready for the day?" He asked.

Scarlett saw Riley and started to walk towards him. The sun burned her eyes a little. "No I am not ready." She said kinda annoyed by not getting any sleep at all.

Riley saw Scarlett, one of the sled members of the Nome team walking over. "Oh. Sorry, Scarlett. I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to my team. But I'm sorry that you're not ready." He said, smiling slightly. "So where's Mika?" He asked with a tint of excitement in his voice. He had a HUGE crush on Mika, the leader of the Nome team. Especially since she was Kodi's (Balto and Jenna's son's) and Dusty's daughter.

Mika chuckled and said "Alright Auriel have everyone meet up by the sled." She trusted Auriel with being second in command. "Oh and Auriel, don't be looking at males along the way." She then turned around and made her way to the sled.

"Another day another slap across the face." Mark said as he groaned. This was his motto, do to the fact that all the females he hit on just slapped him across the face. "Do we have to wake up this early?" Mark asked yawning. "I just hope Auriel is doing better then I am right now." He had seen Auriel before and fell hard for her.

Scarlett frowned at Riley. "I am apart of your team Riley! You must be losing your mind!" She said as she started to walk towards town. Angry that her own sled team didn't remember her. Even though she was new.

Phali walked past Scarlett. His ears still back but he was looking foward so he doesn't hit anyone or bump into them.

Riley started to run after her, but decided to let her cool off. So he turned back to the rest of his team. "OK, guys. Let's go." He said, walking off towards the sled.
Rogue saw Scarlett and dashed over to her, smiling. "Hey, Scarlett. So whatcha doin'?" He asked, walking beside her.

Scarlett saw Rogue approuch her and she looked at him kind of hard. Still angry at, what just happened. "Nothing at all! I just am not going towards the team today!" She said to him.
