"Oh," Prince chuckled as Warbler trotted back into the den. "It's a toy."
He flicked his ears as the sky flashed brightly with the striking lightning. He didn't even flinch as a bolt crackled loudly across the sky.

Warbler, glaring, stuck outer tounge.
"He's not a toy.... Are ya Iggy?" she said, jumping at the crash of trees being struck by lighting. "Can wd go inside...?" she asked holding Iggy's tentacle nervously.

Prince nodded and nudged Warbler into the den.
"Go on in, the storm won't get ya in there," he said reassuringly as he followed behind her into the den.

Warbler nodded and curled quietly around Iggy, and sighed.
"Pwince...?" she asked yawning. "Do you promise not to leeeeave me and Iggy?" she said, falling asleep before hearing his answer.

Prince half-smiled as he looked down at the pup. He sighed and lay down next to her.
"Yea, Warbs," he answered, "I promise."

Warbler yawned and snuggled against Iggy, then Prince. She smiled, and pushed Iggy against Prince to "comfort" him too.

Prince rolled his eyes slightly at her childish antics but he couldn't help but keep his smile. He lay his head down on the den floor, keeping his ears pricked for any noise as he listened to the storm blow through the night.

Warbler woke the following morning cuddled up next to Prince. She turned and sighed into her octopus's fluffy form and stood, stretching her small muscles.

The moment Prince could feel Warbler's movement beside him he rose his head, his ears still pricked.
"Mornin kiddo," he smirked. "You and uh...Iggy...sleep well?"

She smiled back and hugged Iggy.
"Okay I guess. You have hard ribs!" she commented.

Prince chuckled, "DO i?" he asked. "I guess i've never noticed."
Prince stretched out, reaching as far behind and in front of him as he could, stretching all he muscles. He stood up and shook out his fur.
"Next time remember, my tail is a lot softer," he smiled, joking.

Warbler took the idea and bit into his fluffy tail. Not hard enough to hurt, but a firm hold. She let go, and thought for a minute.
"Yup." she concluded." Fluffier than the ribs!"

Prince laughed and swished his bushy tail from side to side.
"My tail's probably the only 'fluffy' thing on me!" he thought for a moment. "Really..it's the only fluffy thing on me."

Warbler giggled hysterically, and looked up at his head, and gasped.
"Noooo!! Your hair is fluffy too!" she said, jumping up to play with it.

Prince lowered himself to the ground, getting down to her level.
"Oh really now?" He chimed. "Well.. you're pretty fluffy yourself!" he exclaimed as he ruffled the fur on her head with his paw.
