Personality : Almost Greenland dog thru and thru. She is a very strong and speedy dog, and is very impressionable. She has a large alpha temperament, and can be quite bossy but caring and gentle. Don’t get her wrong, all she wants to do is be a dog friend and companion to someone, but can get a bit sassy when things don’t go her way. She loves to fell like having a purpose, to serve a special job, and when she has one it will be her top priority, even over loved ones.


History:Lived with her mother for most of her life, not spending much time with her father, even on trips to White Mountain or when he came to visit. If she wasn’t with her mother, she was out playing by her own, trying to fetch toys before other dogs did, or just make up ‘missions’ on her own.

Trigger grew, and she grew to be beautiful she got the spitz type look, and flaunted it. She had boys curled around her paw anyway you looked. And Trig LOVED the attention.

Her first ‘real’ date was with a travelling dog named Hugo, who came to the docks of Nome (when she goes every so often.) every once in a while with a sailing. Then spent a sweet summer together, and fell in love. But Hugo had to leave, and Trigger had to stay at her home. She waited till he came again.

Trigger waits patiently for Hugo to come back each year, wants to join him but is afraid of leaving her home, and his master might reject her.

“PrinceWarbler”
Name: Leo
Gender: Male
Age: Depends
Breed: Greenland Dog/ Wolf/ German Shepherd Dog
Personality: Leo is exceptionally fast, both physically and mentally. He’s outrun huskies training for the Iditarod before, and he’s able to conjure up a lie on command and make it seem believable.
He tends to get in trouble sometimes due to his curiosity and adventurous side, but since he hides his ‘scheming’ nature, for the most part he never gets caught. In order to do this, he acts almost like a wimp around other dogs. Or, a wimp in his definition: a canine who does nothing except be nice, say sorry for everything, and tries to help others a bit too much.
After a while, it becomes quite obvious he’s hiding something, so he changes tactics on how to act. This is how he works. Leo never stops thinking, never stops planning, and never stops trying to explore.
He knows how to have fun and isn’t remorseful if someone else were to get caught because of it. He’d just grin, say a sorry he didn’t really mean, and walk off.
This is one of Leo’s faults. While he cares about those he knows, especially his family, he’s not really too big on the ‘sympathy’ act. When others are feeling down, he tries his best to help, but he’s not really great at it. He only knows how to act overly nice because he has had to in order to cover up a few tight spots.
So, overall, Leo is a friendly dog whose troublesome habits tend to get in the way. Though, he’s always quick on his feet to draw a different conclusion. He’s great at influencing others when he needs to, and if that doesn’t work, he floods the scene by running like a rocket. If he ever gets someone else caught by mistake, he doesn’t really feel anything for the other dog because it’s a bit hard for him to feel much remorse or much sympathy. He doesn’t know why he’s that way, but he can’t help it.
He is the way he is.
History: Leo was always the ‘harder to deal with’ type of pup. As he grew, it didn’t really get any much easier. He was always running around, trying to find things to do in order to keep boredom from invading.
Though, he loved his family dearly, and if he ever upset them, he’d try his best to make it up to them. And while that didn’t always work out so smooth, he figured they’d realize he was trying, and it would have the same effect.
One day, Leo ran off in search of something to do, as usual. He came across trouble, though. A gang. They threatened to hurt him if they didn’t do what he said so he dutifully obeyed. He thought he could get away if he had an opening, but to cover up his skills, he lay low and acted as if he was capable of doing nothing.
When they finally came to their destination, Leo was confused. They were in front of a dog fighting ring. “What do you want me to go in there for?” He asked.
The other dogs snickered, but their leader smirked and answered, “You’re going to fetch me a few things.” He explained to Leo that a few of his friends were in there, some meat meant for humans, and trouble if he didn’t get in and get out as fast as possible.
Leo grimaced just slightly upon entering. Everywhere there was blood, whimpering, and suffering. He wanted to get out as fast as possible. He needed to get away from the awful scents. But if he got out empty handed, he’d be killed by the awaiting gang. He decided to just do it and get it over with.
Leo didn’t like this. He had always been the one who influenced others, who thought quickly on his feet, and who couldn’t be tamed. Now he felt as if the situation was reversed, and he didn’t like the whole prospect. He wanted to feel in control.
When he came upon the cages, he was careful not to be spotted by humans. That would be disastrous. The humans here felt no mercy, they’d kill Leo if they saw him. Then that’d leave the gang angrier than ever. Not only would their pawn be dead, but they wouldn’t have their ‘goodies’ either. Then they may take it out on someone else, possibly his family.
Usually Leo didn’t care what happened to others, but this time, it was his family in possible danger. He needed to swallow his pride, finish this job, and get back home. He unlocked the cages using his nose, and let all the dogs out quietly. But the humans saw and they didn’t like it. Several of them ganged up on Leo, unknowingly letting the other dogs escape while he took the hits.
When they realized this, and turned back for a fraction of a second, Leo bolted. He grabbed the meat within his jaws, got a lash from one of the humans who had been following him, and limped out the door.
He dropped the meat in front of the gang and puffed as if he had had the wind taken out of him. He was acting as if he had never run that fast in his life when, in fact, he’d run twice that fast. The gang nodded in satisfaction and left with all their friends, but just before they did, Leo raced in front of them, making sure they knew who he was. That could come back to bite him in the butt, because they could go to the cops and say something about him lying and try to make up a story, but at the moment he didn’t care.
He left the surprised gang behind and high-tailed it all the way home. When he got there, police dogs were waiting for him, and he would have growled had he not been so good at pretending he was innocent.
They accused him of being involved in dog fights, but he was able to hit a few notes, act like a wimp, and make it free of the pound. He got out of the entire ‘outlaw’ experience when it came to getting caught.
Now, he lives a relatively normal life, not including every now and then that he runs into trouble and has to act overly nice. He loves his parents and siblings to death, and despite the fact he finds it hard to feel sympathy, ultimately, he would die for them.
Leo is just the type of dog who loves doing his thing, and isn’t sure he cares if others get caught because of it. He’s not even too sure he himself minds getting caught. Though the pretending act to make sure he isn’t a suspect has been working quite nicely, and he still uses it to this very day.

Name: Aili (Aye- lEE)

Meaning: Leader

Age: 3- 4 years

Breed: Greenland Dog, Wolf, German Shepherd

Build: Aili resembles much of her German Shepherd side. Her main build and especially her face and tail resemble that of a purebred German Shepherd. She does, though, have a thicker coat and slightly longer fur from her other heritage influences.

Personality: Aili is a strong tomboy. Nothing really about her is particularly feminine. No matter what, Aili is fiercely loyal to those close to her and will protect them, even if it means her life. She is supportive, bubbly, and always optimistic. All the males in her division agree that she’s a girl worth taking a bullet for. Very little can actually break through her heart, but occasionally some things hit her with a hard enough blow. From intense training she is an adept fighter and super fast and light on her feet. She can easily take down a male three times her size. (human or dog) Though a little stubborn, she is fit for the job as leader of her division. She is forgiving and sensible, but her job means everything to her as lives are at stake.

Markings/Colorings: Aili has many different shades of brown with a pink nose, and green eyes.

Aili enjoyed life with her parents and siblings at a young age. Her family meant the world to her. Many a night in her puppy life she spent cuddling and playing with her parents. A strong longing for her parents touch and approval was gained when she could barely toddle around. Also a foreign longing in the depths of her canine nature lurked in her heart…

After she was about a year old, she finally wandered away from home to the city of Nome that was near her home. There she saw humans for the first time and, though terrified, she saw the affections shown to a few dogs there and her foreign longing became clear. She had a desire to have a master who loved her dearly and to whom she wanted to be a loyal companion and guardian.

She stayed in town until very late and came home with her parents worried sick. With a wisdom and voice that seemed beyond her understanding she told her parents where she went and about the strong foreign longing that now made sense. She felt at peace and joyous at this, but a look at her parents expressions made her smile disappear. Her father lowered his brows and had a look of anger and disappointment as he distrusted humans. Her sweet mother had tears welling in her eyes and looked like her heart had been crushed. Rango told her to stay away, not get involved with the humans, and forbid her to leave home without permission. Puzzled and hurt that she somehow displeased her parents, she slowly walked to where her siblings were resting.

Her desire to be with humans grew stronger each day. It never left her mind. Finally, she decided that she was going and immediately set out. There she found a walkway that ran along the side of the street and began to walk across it. A younger man stepping out of one of the stores noticed her as she walked his way. Walking over to her, she looked at him with a look of wonder and confusion. Gingerly he bent down and stroked her fur. (Her fur was a little disheveled since she was raised outside of Nome without humans.) “Where’s your master little one?” he gently inquired. Wagging her tail softly she looked into his deep brown eyes and walked over to press her head against his chest. Carefully, he picked her up and took her to his home.

There, she was given a bath and a thorough grooming until her coat gleamed. He gave her a green leather collar and fed her a hearty meal. She felt loved and in turn gave him her heart and loyalty. She enjoyed being with him for the entire day, until it got late. Then, she crept out and went to her family to tell them the news. Her chest was puffed with pride as she couldn’t wait to tell her parents that she found a home…

Unfortunately, her parents’ reaction wasn’t exactly what she thought it would be. Rango and Sorren were immediately alarmed when they saw the leather collar around her neck. After explaining what had happened that day, her mother burst into tears and ran off (just away from where the conversation happened). Rango was furious and after telling her how wrong she was about humans he told her to never come back. This crumpled Aili’s desire to please and honor her parents into broken shards. She left with her ears drooped and her head hung low.

Her new master was in his mid-twenties and was training to be a police officer. One of his first weeks he decided to bring Aili along. There, she showed an interest in the dogs who were training close by. Her master immediately put her in training, where she received police tags and quickly became one of the most agile and adept fighters. She met multiple dogs who she eventually became the leader of. A Siberian husky, Chinook, Malamute mix male named Zanter tried to make fun of her for being female, but ended up being humiliated. She later learned his quiet, somewhat gruff personality came from his broken past and hid a dog that could stand as still and silent as a statue for long periods of time. Another Australian Kelpie, Beaurceron-wolf mix named Kelpiro was extremely friendly towards her and she gradually had a soft spot for him.

Leading her team she helps to keep the peace in Nome and gradually develops a crush on Kelpiro, but she always tells herself that she doesn’t need to think about guys. She eventually encounters her father when she stops Ivan and his gang from terrorizing children. Her father stays after she and her team fiercely fend off Ivan and his gang. With a slight smile he looks at her. She smiles back and comes over to nuzzle her father and tell him that she loves and misses him. He tells her that he does too and also tells her how proud he is of her. This brings joy to her heart as she finally had pleased her father again.

During one assignment, Kelpiro goes in to save a small child from a building on fire. On the way out he gets stuck and gives the child to Aili, shouting at her to go. With blinding tears and heat in her eyes she flees out of the building and carries the young child to her distressed parents. A large creak is heard as the roof of the building finally collapses. “No!” Aili screams. All of her team is shocked at the loss of Kelpiro, but they all know that they must go on.

After this, Zanter tries to comfort Aili. She ignores him for the most part, but in the end she sees that under that gruff personality is a loving compassionate heart. She accepts the comfort and support from him and her other teammates. No matter what, she will press on…


- Aili has a soft spot for victims and relatives/friends of victims and always offers the support she can after her job is done.

Accessories: Aili wears a dark green leather collar with police-dog tags on it.
