Eternity grinned and strode out the front door. Little more than five seconds later she came back in "Where did we park?" she asked. She gave a sheepish gin, which lit her eyes up. She scratched her head wigh the barrel of her gun and shuffled from one floot to the other.

Eternity Clambered in, She'd started to develop a soft sot for the old car. For some reason she couldn't quite comprehend it's smell of mixed worn leather and people reminded her of being warm and safe.She rolled the window down slightly to let the breeze play across he warm face. It wasn't really the actual death she cared about, more the satisfaction of a good shot, and the thrill of danger. Even as a kid, Just riding a bike in Battery City, She'd been dangerprone. Memories flashed across her mind of her and her small, but loyal, group of friends yelling names at draculoids then raing off as fast as they could. Of dealing with the neighbourhood bullies which seem like such a massive enemy when you're a child. Living in the outskirts she'd led a life less controlled than deep within. She remembered the day she'd first seen the Killjoys. The car that had spun through the streets, Almost careering out of control. The Mutters and kicks it had received from the small band inside it, and finally them spinning off. The stories she's heard of them after that had amazed her. She remembered playing killjoy with her friends, How she'd always insisted on being Party Poison. Only now did she realize that it wasn't a game and that those childhood dreams of glory and wonder wasn't everything a killjoy was.

Eternity gagged playfully "Only thing they did get right" she chuckled "You're not gonna get killed by BL/ind, Lung cancer'll beat 'em to it" she grinned.It had been a running joke since day one, and luckily Poison took it well. She Leaned out the window And stared up at the sky "What was your childhood like Poison Kiss?" she asked, Almost choked by her own memories, She'f ind someone elses easie to cope with.

Eternity sighed, still looking out of the window. Her thoughts started to wander again, all the way home. A silent tear slipped down her face without her realizing it. She could still remember every detail of her home. The white washed walls that had been decorated with pictures and quilts. The beautifully crafted figures her brother had made from scrap bits of wood she'd collected while playing outside, her windowsill which had eld her most prized possesions. The newspaper cutting of the killjoys she'd collected, The wheel of her bike, six colourful stones and a small model blaster. Then the bad stuff started to come back, How they'd often had barely enough to eat, no matter what BL/ind said, teh days her brother had been dragged home, kicking and screaming, by Draculoids... She just let the tears fall now, no longer caring.

"Nothing" sniffed Eternity "Just remembering home, I still wonder what's left of it" she admitted "I haven't seen my brother since the day he stormed out, swearing to just about everything he was leavi9ng Battery City for good. I know it's wrong, but I kinda miss the ignorant utopia I used to live in." she sighed and wiped her other cheek. She glanced at Poison "You mind if I have one of those?" she asked, her voice still slightly muffled. She'd given up smoking shortly after BL/ind had banned it, mainly because she'd not had the drive to go hunting down ciggerates, But now she could feel the old urge coming back.

Eternity took the lighter, found a smoke and lit up. She took a drag and blew the smoke at the ceiling "I dunno" she shrugged "I just guess...Things were a lot simpler back then, You didn't have to have this whole fight in your head about what's right and what's wrong. I tend to look back on these things witha rose tinted glow anyway though" she admitted. She took a nother long drag, savouring it as she'd learned to do with pretty much any luxury. Caffiene, Sugar, Smokes, You didn't rush the or you'd regret it later.

Eternity sighed "Sounds like mine, He always hated living there. He got dragged home alot swearing and shouting at the top of his voice abotu how he was gonna f**in kill Korse and the da*n dracs. Our parents were always despairing of him biut he was my hero. He came home one day and started swearing to every god, place and peron that had ever existed he was leaving to become a Killjoy. I still wish I'd followed him. We got news a few weeks later that-that he'd been shot down by dracs. I didn;t leave the house for day I missed him so much...That's why I became a Killjoy, BL/ind took my brother life and I'm gonna make there godd*mn difficult"

Eternity wooped and laughed, her eyes sparking. She dragged on the smoke and blew out again, relishing the moment. Running into Poison seemed to be a stroke of good luck tat wa sdefinatly lasting. Eventually she finished the smoke off, blew iit out and stubbed it in the ashtray Gazing out of the window at the desert she was sure she spotted somethin, but guessed it was her being paranoid or the dog that had raided them earlier.
