Yep. I've added that information to all my articles and some of my anti-Kopa fan art descriptions. ^^

And I heard that on the 2 Disc Special Edition DVD of Simba's Pride, the Matter of Facts pop-up commentary which can be set on while watching the movie, it says that the cub was genderless and they decided it should be a girl. I don't know yet though if it really does, and if it does, what is the exact quote. I'm yet to get my hands on that version of the DVD releases. I only have the 1-disc release.

Please do and let us know if there's anything about Fluffy/the cub. I'm guessing it ought to be around the ceremony scene if it is at all, but best to watch through the whole film with the pop ups just in case.

This is great proof 8D I personally never really belived Kopa was an official character, I just thought they'd changed Simba and Nala's cubs design in the second one because the cub at the end of TLK 1 looked too much like Simba.

I think they meant that why are you bringing Kiara into a question "is this real" when there is no way Kiara be unreal.

I think you should've phrased the question more directly to be about the cub in the first film, instead of generalizing it like that. ;D

Captain Obvious says Flaffy is a male cub. No matter what's name Kopa or Tanabi he can't be a girl because TLK is patriarchal. And I have a video with Rafiki retelling the whole story and the cub referred as "him".

These peoples were hired by Disney and their work was approved so it can't less official. Actually it's binary logic. The things can be official and be not. Just like it's impossible ro be "less pregnant". BTW SP was made by Australian studio so it has no more relation to TLK's creators.

I don't even like the Lion King movies anymore anyway, but I thought I would reply to this anyway.
And who is THIS captain obvious? Disney? I don't think so! Not trying to be rude, please don't take offense here, but Disney hasn't ever said anything about Fluffy being Male. They referred to it as just being an ending symbol to the movie, until Lion King 2 came out, Then That cub became a female cub named Kiara.
That does NOT make sense right there, I mean, sure it says Lion KING but I'm sure that before Kiara there has been Queens of pride rock as well, I mean, what if the King or Queen tried their hardest to have a Male heir, but they Simply Couldn't because They only had Girls? (That was just a theory.) I mean, even though I don't count anything I can't see in the movie as canon, what about Mufasa and Scar's Mother, Uru? Mohantu was Her father according to some fans, and that means she would of been a future ruler, making Ahadi the king of pride rock. ( I don't support this just so you know.) And Kiara would of been Future Queen, Making Kovu the King, so I don't see a big deal weather or not they had a son or a Daughter, Fact is in both ways it would of still been the Lion King because there would of been a king still. xD
Agian, TL;DR.

Point is, I would of said more, but I wanted to stop there. People have the right to believe what they want. If people think It's Kopa, Fine. If people Think It's Kiara, Fine. Fact is, I really don't care for the movies anyway, so I don't care what theories you believe in. It's your right to believe in what you want.
