Rosie was surprised. She thought perhaps she had the only dog that sounded like the crypt keeper... She held her curly white hair as she took it all in. The old woman was never one to not listen to Tina. The dog was incredibly smart. "Very well then..." she said abd coughed. The little ones all gathered around, knowing that when she coughed like that they would get a story. "The year was... 1930, I believe... There were four new little pups, and the day was a magical day..." she said with a sigh, looking down at the picture on her lap.

OOC: Mind starting off the flashback?

OOC: Sure.

Jenna smiled down to her pups as the circus tent was raised in the field outside of Nome, the snow had melted and green grass now covered the area, for the time being. "That's called a circus," she explained. "It's a place were people go to have fun and watch a lot of performences," she explained, then looked over to Rosie, nuzzling her hand, knowing the little girl was happy.

Balto set next to Kodi, watching events from further away. "So, what do you think? After this years chaos, this seems like a welcome change of pace."

"Momma, what's that?" asked Lena, watching as well. "I've never seen something like it before."

Cachen nodded. "Yeah, it's so...big!"

Blaze smiled, bouncing here and there excitedly as the tent was erected. "It look big and pretty, Momma!" she said, her tail wagging lightly.

Derbin nodded, sitting by his mother with a big smile on his face. "It look biiig. Real big." he said, tilting his head curiously.

Rosie giggled as she stood with Jenna and the pups. She held Kenai in her arms. She loved Ken dearly, so much so she had gotten her parents to consider keeping him when the time came to give the pups away. She rubbed Jenna's head with her free hand, giggling again. She held the ticket to her dog. "Isn't it great, Jenn? I've never seen a circus before. And Mom and Dad got me tickets!" she said excitedly.

Katie rubbed her aching stomach. It was bumped lightly, showing signs of definite pregnancy. "Well, listening to your Grandma... It's uh, a sir-cuss." she said with a blush, feeling odd for not knowing what it was. 

Kodi nodded, smiling at the gaudy tent. "After everything that's happened, this makes me happy. So much stress has gone on this year, so even looking at this tent makes me think things are going to go back to normal."

Blaze giggled, she was excited. "Dogs erform there, Momma?" she asked, mispronouncing it.

Tai smiled. "This looks really interesting... But if animals perform there, do you think they'd let us in to see?" she asked Cachen, speaking softly so as not to spoil it for the pups.

Katie blushed again. "Right right..." she said, perking her ears. "Pakak and Belladonna? I have to wonder what they need you for."

Kai was staring at the tent the whole time, looking confused.

Rosie smiled abd leaned down. There was a time on her ticket. "They should be opening soon, Jenna. I wonder how they set everything up so fast..." she said, rubbing her chin.

Katie chuckled, shaking her head. "At any rate, I hope it's nothing too serious." she said, smiling.

Kai blinked lightly, looking at Lena. "Humans are so strange... I mean, this big tent, and performing animals? It's all very odd." he said, ears twitching.

Tai nodded, and her tail started going a hundred miles a minute. "Good, I really wanna see this. Humans never seem to stop interesting me." she said with a chuckle.

Rosie laughed and kneeled down to pet Jenna's head, giggling as Kenai licked her entire face! She kissed his nose in return, looking at the crowd that had already begun to form along the outside of the tent!

Katie laughed lightly. "From a mischief spirit? I wouldn't count that possibility out."

Goldie nuzzled Cachen. having been sitting beside him just staring at the tent and the people. "They really are. I think we discussed this before, but I wonder what it'd be like to be human, instead of just wondering about them..."

OOC: When do you think it'd be a good time for Adrian to pop in?

OOC: When the circus starts.

Jenna pushed Rosie to get in line, not wanting her to get a bad seat as her parents joined them.

Kenai watched the events around him, looking excited. He looked to Rosie and barked excitedly.

"And from a former demon now neutral, Belladonna's not evil but she's still a mischief maker," explained Lenatei. "That's her nature."

Cachen nodded. "Yeah, very true," he said, cutely. "I wonder if humans ever wonder what it's like to be us..."

OOC: Seems like that's a reasonable time for him to pop up


Rosies giggled as Jenna pushed her into line, and patted the dog's head. She hushed Kenai with gentle petting. "Shh. We're going in soon."


"All the more power, to you, Mama." said Katie, wagging her tail happily.


"Probably." said goldie, eyes half closed as she nuzzled him. "I mean, why wouldn't they? they're just as curious as we are."
