A feeling of icy anticipation coursed through Dylan as he stood up, pushing back his chair. The wooden legs screeched as they scraped against the stone tiles, but he ignored it. He slipped out his wand, blue eyes glinting as he stood near Albus.

"Now, we will only try disarming spells, is that clear Dylan?" He asked and turned to look at Dylan.

"Yes, Professor," Dylan said, flashing his trademark smile that often got teachers and students alike to like him.

Professor Black nodded "Good." He said and motoined for Dylan to go to the opposite side of the platform.

Dylan stood near the edge of the platform, not letting any of his true intentions show. He gave a quick smile at Albus, though he was seething with hatred inside.

Albus just nodded at Dylan, and took out his wand.

Though he hated too, Professor Black would probably make them bow, as was the "polite" thing to do before every match. Barely able to hide his scowl, Dylan moved forward fractionally, dipping his head. The move could be interpreted as a bow, though it certainly wasn't given with respect.

Albus did the same. "Now," Black said "Begin!" "Expelirmus!" Albus shouted.

"Protego!" Dylan said quickly, the shield deflecting the spell. "Expelliarmus!" he continued, his words rapid.

OOC: Me too, I'm worried i'm going to spell all of the spells wrong. xD

The spell made Albus's wand fly out of his hand. "Dylan Shneeps wins!" Professor Black boomed.

(This is where it get's interesting! :O )

Dylan had been practicing with silent spells. Pretending to wave his hands in a mock salute, he mentally murmured the words; Avada Kedavra. A green beam of light shot right towards Albus, and Dylan tried to paint a look of horror on his face, masking the triumph that resided inside.

Albus's eyes widened and rolled out of the path from the curse. "Mr. Shneeps!" Professor Black said half surprised have angry. "How dare you shoot a curse at a student?!" Otto jumped up from his seat "Yeah, you slimey snake! Why'd ya do it?" he jeered.

Dylan went pale, his wand clattering to he floor. "I-I didn't mean to!" he stuttered. "I didn't even say anything!" He glanced at his wand like it was a dangerous animal, taking a small step back.

Professor Black crossed his arms, "He didn't say anything." He mumbled to himself, so he waved at Dylan dismissively.

Albus got up front the floor, and walked down from the platform with a pale face. Otto ran up to him "You alright Albus?" Otto asked.

Albus nodded To think how I came so close to death He thought.

Lily stood up, chair clattering noisily as it slid against the floor. She immediatly hurried over to Albus, sisterly concern shining in her eyes. Her brother had almost died...

She gave him a quick hug before her could stop her. "You sure you're quite all right?" she asked.
