Short bios. Being able to make fluffy fire dragon wolves, is getting out of control. Usually I bite my tongue, but not this time. Characters are automatically accepted? That should seriously be removed. All characters should be looked over one by one, and the mods always complain about there being a lot of characters who need to be accepted. So what. It's your job, stop being lazy and go the extra mile to make sure people aren't filling the site with pink Balto clones.

We had no say in the automatic acceptance system. Steet just put it up without our opinions.

Find a character you don't think respects the rules? Report it!

Animation Source is at a stage where we need to have more practical measures, like they use on Youtube, Fanfiction.net, DA etc

who has complained about it? If someone becomes a fan char mods and then complains because there too many characters and he/she can't do it, well, it was better if he/she didn't accepted the offer, uh?

According to the new rules, the pink Balto clones are acceted since they're sparkledogs, it doesn't care how much you hate them, looks like someone whined a lot because their sparklemutts had been deactivated time ago and so, now, we all have to suffer because of this.

Exactly, one the reasons this was sparkle dogs chracters was approved in the first place, whining seems to be the only language some members try to use and get their way.

But looks like it doesn't work to cut the sparkledogs off again or to change the Fan Char section =/ my question is, why because of few people we all have to pay?

That has got to be the silliest thing I have read towards a topic.

Everything is allowed apart from stolen works, things with sexual content or gore content. So reporting it will not do squat. Obvious point is blindingly obvious.

Uhh, you know this too. I sense a lax quality in this response...

Hm, I do wander that aswell. Whining didn't make them go away, like how whining got them approved. Oo

My thoughts is that Steet is trying to approach and make the site more art based, liked dA for example. Since AS has always had a artistic area that's been active since the site began. Though I think that idea with allowing sparkles would best be put onto another source website and not BS, then take away the auto-moderation on the BS characters section. I think it would please everyone that way.

I agree with Kaizer. They should at least make a sparkledog or ponie site so BS won't get so crowded with sparkledogs..

Charmcaster -- While that may work, there's only one problem. Steet won't do that, and has much as we mods weren't even asked about this sparkle dog allowance and the automated system, we can't really do anything, and trust me when I say I hate this entire thing, because I do. Our going against Steet on this matter would sound like rebellion. Heck, maybe a rebellion is what we need... Then again, maybe not, because of the consequences. Oy, talk about aggrivating...

BS LOVERS UNITE!! ....with pitchforks and torches. ;)

Unless we can talk to steet, and convince him to change the rules, I don't see a way around this problem.
And I have to point out;
If a sparkledog site was created, many of the members who create them would problably still remain on BS/TLKS/etc. So that isn't necessarily an answer either.

Plus, with the new char rules, TLKS is becoming out of control...come on, they had sent a reference sheet for Aladdin (yes, the one from the Disney movie) and Kiba from Wolf's Rain, keeping everything like it was in the anime (story, design, etc) but claiming it as their own version of Kiba and saying that he met Sarafina. Yes. A wolf. In Africa...right, I've seen them all now...
and, of course, a lot of characters like Kopa, Ahadi or Uru with stolen artwork. Or stolen characters, like original characters with an existing page that are taken and claimed as the thief's own.
This is ridiculous!
Are the other sources so less important?
