So... it looks like you already have all the characters you need. Are you going to do more RPs in the future?

Ooc:// I'll start first ^^ Also, I will be doing RPs in the future - I'll let you know when I have a new one open!

Cobalt climbed awkwardly through the rubber dog door and onto the dark, wooden porch that stood in front of his master's house. Bits of unmelted snow that still showed sign of the dark blizzard that had occurred a week before, still clung to the porch and Cobalt easily knocked them off with a swish of his tail. A deafening squeal made his fur stand on end and he whipped around, wondering what had made the noise. A tiny, black automobile's breaks were squealing as it tried to come to a complete stop. It had driven onto a large patch of ice and the vehicle was now trying to stop from sliding into the grass on the side of the road. It eventually came to a stop and a Human got out, walking towards Cobalt. Cobalt bent down and snarled, guarding his master's home but the Human just lightly kicked a leg towards him and rang the doorbell.

He must be a client of Dave's. Cobalt thought, still growling deep in his throat. His master, Dave, sold some of the best sleds in Alaska, along with being on of the best mushers.

Kateri's head hit the roof of the small plane as it swooped down abruptly and took her by surprise. She growled in discomfort and curled back up inside her large, metal cage. The blanket on the floor did nothing about the uncomfortable hardness under her feet and the bars at the front of her cage only let her see the backseats of the plane. Mr. and Mrs. Kirkland were talking to each other but the roar of the plane was too loud for Kateri to hear them. She dug her nose into her tail and tried to fall asleep but only hit her head again as the plane jerked forwards.

Giving up, Kateri pulled herself up as far as the cage would let her, and attempted to stretch. Her claws scratched the metal bars and made her cringe at the sound. She stuck her nose through the wire and called out to her brother, "Alchak! You awake?" She barked over the roaring.

Trek yawned, getting up from the snow that was all around him. The night before, he had been unwilling to sleep on the wet ground, full of snow that had already melted, so he chose a nice, soft spot of it under the shadows and took it as his bed for the night. Stretching his long, white legs, he brought his shoulders half way up the height of his head in a rotating motion. After that, he relaxed his body and yawned quietly, licking his lips in slight excitement. He had a feeling today would be fun.

The completely white husky turned to his sister's spot. When he had chosen the snow in the darkness, she had merely rolled her eyes in a playful manner and lied down next to him in a puddle. Now he searched for her, and couldn't seem to spot her. Did she leave? Sniffing the air, he tried to catch where she went. He couldn't seem to find a scent and padded cautiously forward. She just came into view, though, as he exited the front gate of their master's house. "Kara!" He whispered. "Where did you go?" He whimpered softly.

Kara chuckled in return, though her tone wasn't as careful. "Well I couldn't stay waiting for you to get up, sleepy head! I was out trying to get some food!"

Trek tilted his head, letting his voice become a bit louder, but only an octave or two raised it. "Get food? Why? Our master's been alright to us, Kara. He feeds us daily. Is that not enough?" His question was more confused and curious than anything. He didn't mean it in a bad way, and the twin husky who's only different features from her brother were her eyes and fur tint, knew it.

She sighed slightly. "Well, I just wanted a treat as all. Is that so wrong? Our master never gives us treat. Heck, he only feeds us in the mornings. I think we deserve a little something to sustain ourselves in the evenings. I hate having an empty stomach." She paused. "Besides, it was his choice to let us roam free around town whenever we pleased. It's not our fault the meat comes to our noses and makes our tongues water. Is it?" She let a sly grin pass her lips.

Trek wasn't sure about it, but he finally nodded hesitantly. "I guess so..."

Kara nodded, satisfied for the moment. Suddenly, a whistle sounded somewhere behind them. Their human was calling them for breakfast. The two twins barked happily and were about to race inside, but Kara stopped her brother Trek before they actually went. "When twilight comes, m'kay?" She whispered.

Trek nodded, again hesitantly. Then the two Alaskan Huskies ran like bullets through the door to reach their bowls of kibble.

"How could I sleep with all this noise?" Alchak grumbled, cracking open one blue eye. His aching muscles strained against gravity and his own weight as he levered himself into a crumpled sitting position. The plane had hit a patch of rough air sometime back, causing quite a bit of turbulence. He had been thrust against the unforgiving mesh of his cage, and the even more painful floor. A heavy sigh escaped him.

He wasn't normally this grumpy, but the canine was exhausted and slightly battered. Never a big fan of heights, the first few moments had been sheer terror. But considering the fact he could only see a sliver of the window, he soon forgot about the fact he was suspended above the ground.

Sakii's tail thumped lightly against the ground, and she hurriedly stood. Her claws clicked against the ground, and her nose twitched. She buried her lightly colored muzzle in the food bowl, eating the kibble gratefully. No matter how much she ate, she seemed to burn through calories fast, and was always glad for any sustanence she could find. Unfortunately, the kibble eventually became crumbs. She eyes the remains regretfully.

Cobalt stared at the door as it swung closed after a few moments before leaping down to the street. A patch of ice caused him to stumble but he quickly regained his balance and set off at a steady trot. He padded up the quiet street, nodding at some children who were playing on the other side of the road. He turned the corner and continued down the road at a regular pace until he found himself at the house Trek and Kara lived in.

Kateri tried to see out through the mesh but she could only make out the shadow of Alchak's cage. She pulled back her nose and rested her head on her paws. "I hope we get there soon." She murmured to herself, but loudly enough for her brother to hear.

By the fresh scent of the twins in the air, Cobalt could tell they were outside not long ago, but had gone inside. Must be breakfast time. He thought to himself and let out a quiet bark - letting the two know he was there.

After gulping down the last bit of kibble in her bowl, Kara heard a yip outside the door. Her ears shot forwards as she lifted her head from the empty location of food. Turning her head, she padded towards the dog door and carefully crawled through it. When she was completely encased in the misty morning air once more, she sniffed it and was delighted by what it greeted her with. The day was beautiful.

As she looked around, she tried to search for the dog who had called, and she finally found him standing not too far from the driveway. "Cobalt!" She barked, and ran quickly to his side, licking his neck before grinning in front of him. "How have you been?" She laughed. The husky was obviously excited by another dog's presence. She hadn't been with company besides her brother for a very long time. And most who knew her also knew that Kara went insane without someone to talk to. She wasn't exactly the loner type. Though she'd suffer alone if she had to, without so much as a peep of complaint.

Her eyes glistened with the morning light and she panted very lightly, showing the cold morning air a mist of her own. She looked up at the cloudless sky and then back to Cobalt.

Trek turned back to see that Kara had gone out the dog door in response to the woof outside the house. Since he was in no rush to find out who it was, or to go back outside, he finished his breakfast in peace.

A few minutes later, he licked the tip of his muzzle to taste the last specs of food on his lips. His warm brown eyes gazed at the window of the door and he fought back a gulp. Should he risk going outside? If Kara had gone, he probably should have also, but... he looked back to the further parts of the house. Well...

He shook his head, ruffling the fur around his neck in the process. He made a split decision to just dive through the plastic wrap around the small square and go outside before his mind made up the choice for him. By the time his brain realized he had gone outside, it was too late to make his feet move backwards.

Trek moved halfway across the driveway and stood still before deciding to go next to Kara. "H-Hey Cobalt," he attempted to greet. It had been a while since he had conversed with anyone besides Kara, and obviously he wasn't used to it. He smiled after the 'hello' and sat down.

Cobalt pulled back his lips to show a smile, if that is what you would call it. He licked Kara's shoulder in greeting and nodded to Trek when he appeared outside. "I've been well. Dave is making a lot of money in his business - three sold dogs this week. Cobalt wrapped his tail over his paws and twitched his ears - shaking a snowflake off the tip before continuing, "Also, I was listening to one of Dace's clients talk about some new arrivals flying in from Anchorage." He shrugged his shoulders as though the news was no big deal. But he couldn't shake the tone of the man's voice when he said "New arrivals.".

"I bet they have a dog or two who is bound to stir up trouble for the sled dogs." Cobalt predicted halfheartedly.

Kara shook her head and laughed quietly. "New arrivals?" When Cobalt made his prediction, Kara narrowed her eyes to think and then turned her expression into that of a challenged dog. "Then I guess we'll just have to break the silence, huh?" She asked mischeivously, then grinned.

She chuckled and put a paw to his shoulder, shoving him playfully. "Hey, speaking of which..." She looked around her, towards Trek, and then back to Cobalt. "Later on tonight, Trek and I are going to get some treats." Her eyes danced with curiousity and her voice was flaming with it too.

"That is to say- we're going to get some meat from the butcher's. You wanna come?" She asked.

"Did I hear meat?" Sakii asked, sidling closerto the three canines. Driven by a lack of anything better to do, she had stepped outside, and spotted the small group. And her bottomless pit of a stomach had eagerly replied at the mention of meat. How could she stay away from the possibly food-related conversation?

"So do I," Alchak groaned, allowing himself to flop back down on to the floor. He absolutely hated this - for starters, the continuos rumble of the plane's engines were enough to drive him mad. That, paired with the occasional turbulene, and the fact that his legs were going numb...did not make for a happy Alchak.

Kara grinned at Sakii's sudden appearence. "Why yes you did," she gave the grin some room to become wider. "Wanna come with us?" She asked mischeivously, the feeling obviously returning to her with satisfaction. "It'll be at twilight, a bit after the sun goes down." She paused, giving them time to think. "Does that sound like a plan?" She paused again. "Are you guys in or are you out?" She asked.

It all ended quickly, the flurry of two dogs in a brawl that was cut out by the other dog getting a wood slammed on it's back. It yelped and receded quickly away before running away and down the alley. Ivories clearly exposed at the bold human that had broken up his fight, Santos huffed at him before racing off to avoid himself from getting a whack from that board. His nare's wrinkled up as those silver beaded whiskers showed a quicksilver line along his bi toned muzzle. The older brute trotted onward, his strides unnerved and rather unchallenged as he moved down the road that led to home. It should be time for his food now, like every day that his owner would call them all back in to feed. As he looked ahead, Santos noted roughly four members of the team chatting, Kara, Cobalt, Sakii and that honorably named coward Trek. Slowly his optics would narrow up before coming closer to them as they seemed to talk about some sort of twilight.

Not caring, the male pushed his way between them, not really caring what they were on about, all he wanted was to get though that doggy door to his bowl to eat something. He wasn't in the way, they were even if they shouldn't. All four of them where too close to the door for his taste. "Move it." He said simply, controlling his urge to mock Trek, this male figured he could do it later, for now all he wanted was his food. Santos was anything but a saint, he held little to no respect towards other dogs and merely did his job, and once it was done and he was unhitched form any sled he'd be gone, finding it better to be alone from the rest of this crazed group to avoid the pestering of the more sociably critters around him.

---

Those long, almost wiry yet powerful legs curled in before picking the slim built female up. Bright colored optics followed her musher about within the house as he set out the bowls and poured the kibbles into them before he made the signals for the dogs to come eat. Maya would watch them approach and eat but she didn't touch her bowl, not actually hungry now and just sat in the corner of the living room, besides the now dead fireplace. Her muzzle rested on one of her forelegs as she licked her chops loosely and just rested there, not minding the noises as the group soon moved on out to talk. Large, almost bat-like harks folded back against her crown and flicked forward again as the busk voice of Santos came to her ears, making her scowl. Of all the members on the sled team, he was the least sociable, and Maya wasn't about to break the trend. Picking herself up, she trotted further into the house, making her way to the back door, wondering where Saber was at.

Licking her chops again she trotted outside and suddenly collapsed there, laying in the fresh cold snow with a content mur. That thick, fox-like tail would waver back and forth out from behind her as she let the snow seep into her abdomen and belly, enjoying the cold sensation before she rubbed her muzzle against the snow. May's silver and white coat was nicely contrasted against the white blanket that lay before her in the backyard of her mushers home. Later she would re-join the group at the front, now she wanted to find Saber, the newest addition to the group, that is until the new talked about dogs would arrive. Now being too lazy to pick herself up from the snow she laid there, getting comfortable and looked about with her dual toned hues, relaxed.

Saber felt the snow give away beneath his strong paws, leaving the clear indent for all to see. He was still getting use to this environment...though it wasn't completely worse then before. In reality he was getting use to the new team of which he was now part of, but only one thing stood out in his mind right away and that was finding Maya. She was one of the dogs further up the "social ladder" of sorts, but she was also his only friend and accomplice at this point in time. He walked along the back of the shed, knowing that was the usual place she would be waiting.

His ears perked up and he smiled before shaking his head, watching her play about in the snow like a newborn pup. He took the moment to laugh before waiting until she was on her back looking straight up. Taking advantage of the position, Saber looked straight down at her. "Well...it would seem that somebody is enjoying themselves." he spoke with a smile before brushing some snow over her head with a laugh, quickly bounding away and raising his backside in the air in a playful manner.

"You might be faster but it takes more then just speed to win the day." he stated with a playful grin before letting his tail wag about.

When Santos just shoved his way through the middle of the group, Kara gave a loud growl. She had never approved of him, and often would get into arguments with the male despite the fact he was bigger than she was. She held too much pride to be shoved around like her helpless brother. Not that she had anything against her sibling. She, too, knew that Trek was Santos' least favorite dog, despite their bitter quarrels every now and then.

She figured she may have been second on his list. However, that didn't necessarily cross her mind at the moment, and she was about to make a scene of it before he crawled through the dog door and into the house. She let her second growl escape her throat quietly as she cursed in her mind. "That arrogant flea-bag," she let out. "He has no respect for anyone on this team." She huffed, but shook her coat as another dog came outside in his place. Maya. She managed a smile as she watched her lounging on the snow.

As Saber came around from the back, Kara turned her gaze back to the group. It seemed the two had been locked in conversation. They could join them later, she guessed.

The growl rose to his ears and Santos only chuckled at the female before pushing his way through them and slipping inside. "That arrogant flea-bag," Kara began, "He has no respect for anyone on this team." Santo's ears flicked frontal before a sneer bellowed from his throat, still close enough to hear her. "And your an ignorant b****." The brute added rudely before trotting further in, passing a stiff bark to his musher whom filled his bowl. He watched the kibble hit his dark green ceramic bowl before sitting in front of it and then lowering his head to the bowl, fangs crushing the kibbles into smaller pieces and swallowing his food. Thin web-like saliva fell from his chops moments later as he finished his fill. Leaning back up, his flanks rising, unearthing a thick and nicely curled bushy tail. Trotting over to the pail he dipped his head in and took a nice long drink, satisfying his thrust as well.

As the beads of water dripped down his jugular he shook out his fur and looked around with those cold, lifeless brown eyes and walked into the living room. Not wanting to meet up with others he hopped onto the red sofa and tucked out his favorite couch cushion and set it against the armrest before curling up, his head on the pillow in quite the comfortable manner. His white forepaws were neatly tucked below his thick chest, tail curled against his flanks as she rubbed her cheek against the red fabric a few times until he was comfortable. It amused him how riled up that one female would get, and a sick smirk curled up his maw before he closed his eyes, bracing a little closer to warm himself and resting now.

{{ Yep he a meanie Lol x3 }}
---

It really didn't take long before the source of her current coyness would arrive, first heard his voice, second followed by his view. By now she had rolled over onto her back, her legs up in the air like awkwardly placed limbs. Blinking slowly, the bi-eyed colored dog looked up to meet the gaze of the wolfdog, a smile instantly adding appeal to her overall appeal. "Well...it would seem that somebody is enjoying themselves." Her ears would fold forward to his words before she closed her eyes, smiling brightly at him and nodding as he brushed the snow off her face and head gingerly. "Oh you know it!" Maya said, a little too loud since she looked over her shoulder to see Kara staring at her. A blush cheeped up on her face as she turned around, so that she would be laying on her tummy and looked after Saber whom had bounded off, and at quite a soft sound too.

Being naturally, socially shy she stood up and walked to where she wasn't in the view of the others before looking for Saber. "You might be faster but it takes more then just speed to win the day." He said, and she looked to him with a smirk. "Is that a challenge?" Maya said back to him watching him give her a play bow and meeting his with one of her own, left forepaws beating on the snow. Her silver, white tipped tail would wag quickly before she bounced forward, barking lightly at his face and then bouncing back, wiggling her flanks playfully. She accepted his proposal, she'd love to beat him in a race someday, perhaps soon enough, her tongue loosely hanging form the side of her mouth in a playful gesture.
