Sarzan sat by his partner, a grin lingering on her face.

Kestreth's amber eyes were concerned. She looked warily at the two Dracos before saying softly, "We won't hurt you." After a moment's hesitation, she added, "I'm Kistreth."

Zerran'sokenthz chuckled at his partner's grin. "Well be at the border by afternoon. Rodentia's women are small, we should have two arm fulls each." he said, glancing in with his wild red eye.

Mrilli smiled, on her hand abd knees, trying to look soothing. "Youre so young... How old are you?" as an afterthought she said. "I'm Mrilli."


Purri looked up, rubbing her eyes and sniffing. Her voice was hushed and quiet... It was as if the girl was whispering. "I-I am-m... 15, m-mm-ma-madam." she stuttered, unused to speaking. "M-m-my na-name is Purii."

Kistreth - two years older - somehow felt like an older sister at the moment. She gently placed a spotted hand on Purii's arm, amber eyes warm.

Purii blinked softly, looking at the hand on her arm. She stared at it curiously, before putting her own shaking hand on top of it. "Th-thank y-you."

Zerran nudged his partner. "Sarzan, look." he said, looking down the road. Walkixng their way was a gorgeous woman, a red panda. She was gorgeous, and unsure looking as she braided her carrot colored hair. "A fitting bride, no?"

Kistreth blinked. That simple gesture didn't seem like something that had to be thanked. But the cheetah nodded anyway. "No problem," she said softly.

Sarzan nodded, then grinned once again. "Would you like the honors?"

Purii looked down, her eyes clouded over. "I'm scared... What are they gonna do with us?" she asked, scrubbing at her eyes as she tried not to cry.

Zerran grinned. "We'll tag team it, you dig?" he asked, waving to the woman. "Hoi, lovely! You seem lost." he said, grinning maliciously.

Linne gasped, clutching her cloak to her body. She scowled, her long tail swishing back abd forth. "What do you want, Draco?" she said, knowing it would be futile to run.

"Just seeing such beauty bring tears to my eyes, tears of joy." he said, pretending to sniff abd wipe his eyes.

Kistreth shrugged, turned her gaze to the scene outside. "I don't know, but it looks like someone'll be joining us." She couldn't keep a low hiss from rolling off her tongue, tail lashing in frustration.

Sarzan slipped off the cart, holding out his arm in a mocking, "gentlemen" fashion. "I would love such exquisite beauty to experience our...hospitality," he said. Inside, he was pleased with himself. He had used some pretty big words there.

Mrilli shook her head, amazed and confused at the two dragons. "What are they doing with all these women???" she asked, pinning her ears down.

"Come on, my dear, let my partner escort you on. We would enjoy your beauty." said Zerran, taking off his hat in a very respectable way.

Linne took a half step back, her ears going back as her tail puffed up. "I do not trust a dragon as far as I can throw him." she said, her eyes flashing dangerously. "Abd that wouldn't be much, sirs."

Zerran grinned. "Sarzan, fix our beautiful friend up with a pair of bracelets abd put her in our carriage."

"I haven't a clue," Kistreth said, sounding distracted. Her eyes were still fixated on the ongoing scene outside.

Sarzan grinned. "Gladly," he said, smoothly pulling out cuffs. He slid them onto the woman's wrists, snapping them shut quickly.

Mrilli rolled her eyes and winced. The cuffs were starting to chafe her skin.

Zerran laughed, slipping off the cart to hold the woman by the chains.


"Release me!" Linne growled, struggling in vain agaisnt the retile's grip. She tried as best as she could, not realizing that they were probably trying to wear her out. "Let me go!" she cried, her red hair whiping about in her struggles.

"Wouldn't it be a shame if I had to ruin your pretty neck?" Sarzan asked, holding the sharp edge of his dagger close to her throat.

Linne's eyes widened slowly, brightening the dark markings on her face in horror. "You wouldn't!" she said.


Zerran gripped the chains. "Oh, he would. Trust me, wench." he said. coldly, eyes glinting madly. "Sarzan, put her in with her new friends, hm?" he said, grinning. "There is a reason we are winning this war, lass. and it's not because we're all merciful."

Linne's face fell slowly, her neck tensing as she truly felt the cold blade at her throat.

"Leave her alone," Min said softly, but defiantly. A few tonics and poultices were secured by her left arm, while her right was gesturing to Linne. Though small in stature, she did have a large heart, and being a healer had given her the urge to help anyone, anywhere. Even if the situation was absolutely hopeless, and more likely to get her in trouble than the other out.

Sarzan was already at the cage, Linne with him, when the mouse had emerged. Already occupied with one woman, he decided to let Zerran deal with it.

Zerran grinned softly, rubbng his chin. He quickly went up, holding the little mouse's chin. "You are right... Perhaps we should take you instead." he said, gripping her about the waist. "Whats a pretty thing like you doing with those heavy jars?" he asked, lofting her up with ease. "You deserve a pair of pretty bracelets," with this, Zerran'sokenthz latched a chain on her right hand.


Linne's face fell, her eyes clouded over.

Purii was kneeling up shyly, looking out the window of the crate. She whimpered.

Even though she was held tight by Zerran - and the chain encircling her wrist - she managed to swing one of the jars she was holding with her left hand. It ended up hitting Sarzan in the shoulder, and the Draco hissed, barely keeping his temper in check.

As it was, he gave her a heavy blow across the cheek. A bit dazed, the rest of the bottles and jars fell from her arms, and she managed a glare at both of them.
