A small spark of pride flitted through the warrior's green eyes, and Jadeheart couldn't suppress a small smile. "Thanks," she said quietly. She gestured to a point in the thick underbrush with her tail. "That way leads off our territory," she said.

Jadeheart's eyes glinted, and she whacked him with a paw, careful that her claws were sheathed. "No need to be rude," she chided, grinning.

Jadeheart purred, dodging the brunt of the gentle blow, his paws only skimming her fur. "You'll have to do better than that to catch a clan cat," she taunted, green eyes glinting playfully.

"I dunno," Jadeheart muttered, unexpected shyness layering her voice. The only warning was the slightest flick of her tail and a mischevious glint in her green eyes. "We may not have fancy-shmancy jumping techniques," she admitted, "but we can still kick butt."
