I think it'd be a good idea to make the pup their adopted child, without the child knowing it's not biologically theirs. You know, a child to help them cope with the loss of their biological child. Or something like that.

Sunlight came thorugh the dusty old windows. And curled up inder an old table was a giant furry mass... A small form raised its head... a german shepherd. Meike yaned, looking at her little family. They always slept late, it seemed. She got up slowly, as not to wake her sleeping mate and children, and stretched. Each pop of her back telling her the hours that had past during her slumber. She looked to her mate, that big fluffy cottonball softy; and licked his cheek softly. "Guten Morgen(Good morning), Giani." she said with a slight accent, rousting a shuddering yawn out of the big dog. She backed up, and shut her eyes as he shook his rusty-tinged fur off. All those years, all that pain had left Giani with a permanent dye-job. Meike frowned, as she always did when thinking of the vile place... She sighed, and just nuzzled her mate, waiting for her two children to wake up. They were near total opposites. Meike and Giani had chosen names from their respectives countries of origin; two beautiful names.

Mathias was first to wake up, a sciowl on his face, as if angry to be awoken. He groaned as he got up. Filomena shuddered, and woke up form the chill, and the lack of furry bodies around her. Her near white pelt was wmatted down, which her Father quickly fixed by ruffling her head with a paw. She stood with a giggle, stretching slowly.

Ooc:// Godzilla - There's not really posting order, just make sure you post when you can. You also things going with the police dogs.

Bic:// Katie awakened from her spot underneath the window of the old abondoned house that she and the other dogs had taken over since the last few months. The afternoon sun streamed inside the house, disturbing the sleep of all the dogs in the house it seemed. She glanced over at Meike and Giani as they stirred from their long rest.

Scott rolled over onto his back and stretched out his muscles. It seemed like they had been asleep for days even though it had only been an hours or two into the afternoon. The rest was a relieve after the years spent in the rings, and Scott was glad to have the chance to raise his children far away from that world.

Cali yawned herself awake, uncurling herself from the far corner of the room. She slowly lifted herself up off the floor, and stretched her two front legs out in front herself to truly wake up.

Aiden remained sprawled out in the middle of the room, his ears spread out around his head and his tongue lolling out of his mouth. The sunlight that was pouring into the room through the window seemed to have no affect on the sleeping dog.

Tawny sat up from her place near her mother, squinting her eyes into the light reflecting off the floor. She shook the winkles out of her fur and straightened her ears in contentmet.

OOC: I meant like what I'm supposed to do, I'm confused on this, sorry but mind is just not working when it comes to this RP for some reason.
