Kyler instantly sensed something was wrong with Damien, judging by the tone of his voice. "What's wrong?" she asked, having to look up at him with her cheeks still a bit red.

"If you insist." said Kyler uneasily. It bothered her when she wanted to know something that nobody felt like divulging. Anyway, the duo were almost to the lake, and Kyler decided to drop it. "Well, we're almost there!" she chirped, changing the subject. "And guess what I brought." she added, letting her backpack fall down her arm so she could unzip it. She pulled out a big bag of the chips that were both their favorite. Kyler had nearly got busted when she pickpocketed the money to buy them, but being as skilled a pickpocket as she was combined with her wanting some food, she'd pulled it off.

Ellis Curt Oakers was short for his age, but his power to control the element of Earth made him feel taller than the Statue of Liberty. At the edge of his favorite practicing spot, Regina Lake, he kept his feet firmly rooted on the ground as his fists were extended, and the boulder in front of him that stood a few feet taller then he did levitated heavily off the ground, and when the boy swung his fists at the lake, the boulder followed, creating a huge splash.

Kyler laughed as Damien hugged her, expressing how happy he was because of the snacks Kyler brought. She laughed, "I knew that would cheer you up!" she laughed, then hugged him with one arm, because her other hand was clasped around the bag.

Bic:// Kyler pointed ahead of them, shoving the bag of chips back into her backpack. "We're here!" she said happily, grabbing Damien's hand again and running towards the small, almost unnoticeable opening that lead to the lake.

As the huge rock splashed into the lake, Ellis stood tall, proud that he had beaten his distance record at boulder-throwing. He swiveled his head toward the trees, where all of his friends were sitting and watching. "Well?" he asked, smiling.

Carmen was drawing pictures in the dirt with a red-hot finger, using her firepowers to burn lines into the earth beneath her. She shrugged. "I've seen better." she answered, not even looking up from her doodling.

Tara was sitting in a tree branch right by the edge of the lake. She grinning sweetly at Ellis. "I thought it was really good." she sang quietly.
