Rio (2011)

I was able to drag my boyfriend to this and it's just so adorable! I loved the main characters and the fact Blu's voice was done by Jesse Eisenberg just made it all the more win. The first time the characters broke out into song I was thinking "Oh no..." a bit.. but the songs were fantastic! And that dog? FFF. I loved him! (AND he was a "bully breed")! The animation was beautiful as well. So colorful and full of life.

Really, I loved everything about the movie. <3

I agree with you! The movie was epic. I was like "Oh no singing.." And it turned out pretty good. c:

My sister loves the music and so does my mom.

You know, I honestly think the fad now is to make an epically awesome musical movie, and not have the trailers tell at all that its a musical so people who normally avoid musicals see it and can actually enjoy it.

I LOVE the songs in this.

This movie was on the top of the box office. It made and is STILL making a lot of money. People sure enjoy this movie! I sure did.. xD I already watched it twice.

I will never get tired of an epic movie like this. xD

I think the voices fit the characters well.

I just like the fact the main character has a VERY similar personality like I do. xD That's what got me attracted to the movie in the first place.. xD

Man I can't wait until the movie comes out on DVD.

I loved that. :D There's a lot of animated movies I've seen where the voice acting kinda well... sucks. And that completely ruins the movie.

I just watched this movie on the internet. Despite the laggyness, I really REALLY enjoyed it, just like I knew I would! It was so colourful, cute and beautiful.. and it's so nice to finally have a movie about birds (which isn't about penguins. I love penguins, but you know xD), and what's even BETTER about the movie is that it teaches us about parrot smuggling and a really rare - almost endangered - bird species. The Spix Macaw, which is what Blu and Jewel are. I loved all the characters.. Nico was probably my favourite, but they were all so wonderful and well done. The voice actors were chosen perfectly, animation was glorious and so fluid, the songs and music were absolutely brilliant, and the storyline was just SO good. I honestly had no idea how it was going to end, I love that in movies. xD

I loved it. Absolutely. Can't wait til it comes out on DVD so I can watch it properly <333

I really liked that the human villains weren't evil, animal haters but just greedy, realistic human beings.
