Sparrow took a drink of her coffe and put her seatbelt on. She took her gloves off and put her hands to the vents that were blowing warm air, but quickly decided that her gloves were warmer."eye chihuahua! What in the hemisphere is upp with this cold, I think this is the coldest its been in years!"she said looking at the steaam rising from her coffe cup.

"Once again, I can't argue with that," Rita concured, pulling the car out of the parking area and onto the road. The drive passed in silence, the heat of the car a welcome change from the freezing air that whistled oustide, cutting through the thickest of jackets. They soon reached the house, and Rota pulled to a stop.

OOC:what are we going to do about other cops, etc.?

Ooc:// Let's say this; the cops have already fenced the area off, but the detectives are the only ones who investigate. So the police are mainly keeping people away from the crime scene on the perimeter; Rita and Sparrow are the only ones actually inside.

OOC:Can I make a bio for the medical examiner, that is a very important person who works with detctives.

Sparrow looked around inside the house. She walked into the kids' room and saw them lying in their beds with stabwounds to the chest. Their room was completely normal, no thrashing or mess at all. It was almost like a dream Sparrow had had when she was a child, only the girl in the bed was her. "how sad" she mutterd to herself.

Rita didn't waste time focused on dreams, her eyes scanned the room for clues, hidden to the casual observer. Unable to find anything, she examined the fatal wounds. "It was a knife, not a gun," she muttered, practically to herself.

OOC: heres the bio, and Ill play him.

Jimmy walked into the room and looked at the childeren."Poor Lads" he said as he began to put on gloves and turn the two boys over so he could take the tempureature of their livers.

Sparrow had just finished pulling her gloves on when Jimmy enterd."Rita, gloves!"she said to make sure that no evidence was tampured with. Sparrow usually didnt thinkabout her previous dreams, but today, she was off her game, and Rita knew it.

Jimmy pulled the thermometer out of the younger boy and looked at it.

"What do we have Doc?"she asked

"Well, these poor lads died about six-and-a-half hours ago, and, as you could probably tell, were stabbed to death. I will have to get them home to tell anymore." he replied. Jimmy called the autopsy room home because he spent more time there than at his own house.

Rita actually already had her gloves on...Sparrow seemed to be lost in thought or something today. Ignoring the unusual behavior of her friend, she nodded at Jimmy, whom she called either Jim or James.

"Thanks, Jim," Rita said.

"No problem dear, Im going to go check out the mother and uncle, then I'll come back for the lads" he said walking out the door.

"You see anythin' Rita?" Sparrow asked looking at the wall where some blood spatterd. She pulled out a quetip to take a sample just in case it was the killers.It was unlikely, but she thought it would be better safe than sorry.

"Give me a minute to search the bed," Rita said, already bending down. There was nothing but a few hairs; they both matched the childrens' though. Her gaze was caught by one of her own hairs; she reached down and plucked it up, placing it in the pocket of her thick coat. She looked around superstitiously, in case anyone had seen. Then again, if they had, they would assume that it had come from her own head right now, and she was removing it so no confusion would take place.

She hid a small grin as she straightened. Her partner, a young man named Hiro, had done a good job with this particular murder.

"I don't see anything here," she reported, looking at Sparrow. False concern narrowed her eyes, drawing her slender brows together.

"Huh, okay, well Im going into the moms room to check things out, you mind taking the uncles room?" Sparrow said not noticing Rita put the hair in her pocket."Who ever did this is good, but nobaodys perfect, there is probably more in the adults rooms."

Rita nodded. They would probably find evidence of Hiro in the next room, but she was fine with that. She could easily name him a criminal and slam him into a cell. She wasn't one to be sympathetic to her criminal "partners". She headed into the uncle's room. She found a small bloodstain on the bed, and the sheets were tangled. He either moved around alot during the night, or he had struggled for his life. She found a small bit of cloth; probably from a shirt. This meant there had probably been a struggle, though she couldn't be sure.

Sparrow walked into the room and started dusting for finger prints. None. She looked for any other sign,besides the dead body, that the perp was there.Nothing. The mom was asleep when she was killed too. Jimmy had already moved the body out of the room.

Rita walked out of the room. "I found some fabric that probably has some skin cells on it. It looked like the uncle actually struggled a bit, ripping the murderer's shirt before he was killed."

"Well I think the mom was asleep like the lil ones," Sparrow said in reply.
