jose philapino wrote: I cant wait for Oliver & Company II and The Aristocats II (If they get relaesed though) Are they seriously planning an Oliver and Company II? I've never seen anything official. *hopes* I don't want a piece of garbage, of course, but I have to admit I'd love to see one. Just to see where they'd take the characters next. I'd snatch it up as soon as it was out. If they do an Aristocats II (or anything else) I'd hope the same thing, naturally--that they do at least a little justice to a classic. I mean, at first I hated Lady and the Tramp II and was thoroughly disappointed, but it's grown on me and there are certain things I now like about it. So I can be prepared for almost any sequel they dish out. Finding Nemo 2, huh? I was obsessed with FN when it first came out, and I still am to a degree. I wished hard that they'd make a sequel to it, mainly so I could find out what happened to my favorite characters (the Tank Gang fish) in the ocean. Heh. Edit: Looking over the list in the first post....WOW. Looks like they want to continue just about everything they ever made, with a part 2 or 3. O_x Some of them I seriously can't believe they're making...especially if the part 2's weren't that good...D:

It was scheduled to be released in 2007, but the production was canceled in early 2006 after Disney acquired Pixar and canceled all projects not related to a consumer product line.
(topic revival, but it's not a bad topic revival...)

I'm afraid I've just found out that they're only making one more DTV sequel, The Little Mermaid III. Wikipedia wrote: The movie will be the final direct-to-video sequel produced by Disney, as, on June 22, 2007, the Walt Disney Co. announced a major restructuring of its animation department, which included a decision to stop producing their "lucrative yet lower quality" direct-to-DVD sequels spawned by the studio's most successful feature titles http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_mermaid_iii

The Princess and the Frog will be the first 2D animated movie made by Disney since the awful Home on the Range in 2004. I hope that this will end all the annoying 3D films that Disney has been putting out like Chicken Little and Meet The Robinsons...Unfortunately, it will not end the even more annoying Direct-to-video sequels! Here's more information about it if anyone is interested: http://www.keyframeonline.com/Animation ... Frog/1089/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Princess_and_the_FrogActually, that'll be released a year after the last DTV sequel, The Little Mermaid III
