Mmm, that's very rough. Maybe that's the type of drawings we would need to do for all the scenes before actually drawing them?

Also, I have added a new gallery for posting all the Virtual Season artworks and anything made for the purpose of the VS (even "test" ones) so that they're gathered in one place.
AND, I have updated the site page with new content :

Hi everyone,

Thanks for posting an official TSVS art gallery Steet! Looks great and makes it so much easier to see the production art all in one place!

So is it official that we can begin drawing the comic (the bold areas at least)? Are we going to divide up pages next so each artist knows what part they will be drawing?

So how is the artwork going? Have any parts of episode 1 been illustrated/drafted yet? Or do we need to designate an artist for each section before this can happen?

I think the primary penciler for now will be syrena, althought I'll be helping on some of the pages. I will be the inker as far as I know. we need colorist. I can manage to color some of the pages , but only in flats. I do not guarantee to color all the way anything except for the cover page.

Sorry, I was on vacation this week and couldn't answer. Back now!

I think yes, and I agree with Opus on who should do what.

I just need a final answer on this : are we doing a full comic (which means we'll have to find ways to shorten the dialogues to fit into a comic), or are we only doing SOME scenes to illustrate?

I'd go with the comic format since is less time taking . Syrena and I kinda have it already figured out. she is doing most of the penciling althought I will help. also I'm doing the inking as far as I'm concern and we have agreed. the coloring well I can manage to do some , but only simple flats. only the front page will be fll colored and I will do the artwork for those. anyone has experience with inking. I mean something digitally is prefered because of the speed and cleaniness of the lines.

here is a link of a pic I inked and colored. it is not related to talespin though

Not much, I'm afraid. It seems like everyone hasn't enough free time currently to work on it. Or are you waiting for directions?

As we said, we should start drawing the comic for the identified parts of the screenplay.
I was thinking that maybe we would need someone to roughly layout the pages?

See this for a tutorial / example :

After reading about how nobody is working on creating comic panels, I decided to give it a shot. I'll be honest that the sketches are very rough, but to give an idea of what goes on and what the character positioning would be like.

P.S. I sketched Jarrett's sponser if it hasn't been done already, just so we can get an idea of what he looks like.

I think that we should take the artwork that has been done and use it. Archip did some GREAT illustartions. People are doing this on their own free time. We should divide up the stuff between the artist and what gets done and how the artist does it will just be done.

Here's another one I did with more balloon dialogues, and a few camera angles. I do however feel theres' a few changes that need to be made.

The angling of the Sea Duck needs to be fixed so that the indenting shows more detail.
The part with Kit saying 'Sounds fun' needs to be in two boxes, so it shows his change of expression, as he turns his head the other way to find the plane is on a collision course with the Duck.

Sadly , Im pretty sure it has. I cannot handle everything on my own, and well I have a real life to take care of . commissions are a big part of my income and well I'm really sorry but when a team disolves there is nothing to be done. I'm officially out of the project. Sorry.
However, because I olove talespin I will do art and ilustartions of sevral stories on my own in the form of promotionals, but without intending to do a full project. I wil base those images on the stories I have and the ones that were posted here as opart of the Virtual Season. when that is dopne I will be happy to post them here
