Eh, I dont think anybody for Disney would have the heart to kill Simba, no matter how out of character he was in the second movie. I think they should have a prequel about Mufasa and Scar, cuz I want to know why Scar was so "disturbed" and how Disney would make Ahadi and Uru look like XD (well considering that they didn't use Kopa, they'd probably change their parents as well) But even so, a prequel would be nice.

They had plans to kill Simba off in Simba's pride but that didn't go ahead.

I don't think there will ever be another lion king film personally.

A continuation of Kovu and Kiara would be repedative now that there's no villan, they couldn't just make one out of nowhere as many see SP already did.

A pequel, the story of Mufasa and Taka would just confuse the kids, I doubt Dinsey would ever think about leaving their three main characters out of a lion king film either: Simba, Timon and Pumbaa.

That would be so awesome, especially if the end was the beginning of TLK 1 and now you mention it, why was Scar like that?

Personally I think they shoud make a plot where Kopa is in where they basically show kind like the six new adventures. Scar is neglected by not getting attention. He gets darker in his actions. He becomes so jealous of his big brother and then Zira cubnapping him or something.

no offence ppl but they might make tlk 4 but it cud be like rafikis background or where pumba came from some crap story like that. but my opinion wud be the next lion king (kovu) and wht evil was their and they were killed and so on sumfing like tht hopefully *crosses fingers*

The problem is, how could you make another LK movie without rehashing the original or Simba's Pride. Or on the other hand, who (aside from fans) would watch it if it had Ahadi and Mohatu in it, but not Timon and Pumbaa? You have to please everyone, not just fans. Same for Balto.

Instead of making another full length film, Disney could perhaps do several short films instead. They could last from 10-15 minutes and provide 'fan food,' such as Nala's father, Mufasa and Scar's childhood, Kovu and Kiara's cubs etc, and also have ones about Timon and Pumbaa, Zazu etc. So there's something for everyone here.
It might sound bizarre, but it has been done. For example, when The Incredibles was released on DVD, a bonus feature was a short called 'Jack-Jack Attack' (Jack-Jack is the baby btw). Jack-Jack didn't get much time in the actual film so this little short explained what happened whilst the family was off saving the world. It did the character justice without having to make another film. (because that would just be pointless! )

Sure, Nala's dad may be interesting, but do we really need an entire movie about him?

Err... well, we're really running out of interesting ideas now xD. But my idea (note: very very old and lame) was that Kovu and Kiara have cubs, blahdyblah, one is brown like Kovu and looks like Kiara but the other is orange and brown and looks like Zira, so the Zira-cub takes her sister and runs off with Vitani since they don't feel they really belong. They meet a 'Wanderer' - a lion who isn't one of the Pridelanders but wanders in their territory as they left before the Pridelanders and Outsiders merged. So they return when the cubs have grown up, but nobody recognizes them, so they attack. After the Pridelanders realize that these lions are of their own kind there's a hyena ambush en masse for revenge. Sarafina succumbs to injury, and Kiara and Kovu have had two new cubs while their 'lost' cubs were gone.

But that's lame. I wanna see a PREQUEL! ;D

Ok, Kovu and Kiara have cubs and Kopa and Kovu's father are still alive and they tell of an upcoming war with Zira(whop survived the fall) and Vitani learns that Zira is not her mother that she was cubnapped by Zira and she falls in love with Kopa. So the war starts, they battle Zira but she has spiritual powers that proves her to be virtual "immortal" but one of Kira's cubs weild a pwer that can destroy Zira. More to come.

What do I think? I think they should make another full-length film about Timon! (It would be good if it took place after The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride) For starters, Timon and Pumbaa leave Pride Rock and return to their dream home. I do NOT think that Timon and Pumbaa took up residence in Pride Rock, regardless of what others think. They just visited Pride Rock, and now that they've helped Kiara, they need to have their own adventure.

Maybe it can be where Kovu and Kiara have a cub and the hyeanas come back for revenge. At the end, they make peace with them like they did with the outlanders. I know that most of you might think that lions and hyeanas could never get along and my movie would never happen but it's only a kid's movie. Besides, you all saw how the hyeanas got along with Scar.

that's nice Steele, but I'd prefer if the Hyenas had their own territory that isn't the Pride Lands and better than the Elephant Graveyard..

I actually made a joke a few years before TLK 1 1/2 (3 in some countries) was made .. that Disney should've made a Timon and Pumbaa movie.. (this was when there were rumors of a Genie from Aladdin movie that might have been produced but were scrapped shortly afterwards).. though It was nothing like Timon and Pumbaa raising Simba or telling the TLK story from T and P's POV.. though I still think they should've gone into Pumbaa's past like they did with Timon .. *shrugs*...

Sebastian from TLMermaid should also get his own movie LOL ...

as for The next generation of TLK. I'd like it if Vitani's cub and Kovu and Kiara's cub could be betrothed.. the cub doesn't have to blood related (like when Scar hand-chose Kovu) but I think it would be kinda cute..
